Everyone should read this, I mean all those moron celebs who gave comments about this matter.

Vidya is not Preity's family or friend, just colleague but Vidya supports her cause Vidya does not have regressive mind and she got the guts to say her opinions loud and clear, sad that PZ's friend Salman couldn't do this, I hope Preity has realized that he is just a chicken.

As always she makes the most intelligent statement. She's def is the smartest and most well spoken actress in Bollywood.

I love how she didn't fully support PZ because she doesn't know what happened..but still gave browny points to PZ for standing up for her rights.

Vidya is so eloquent and perceptive,emotionally and intellectually. She almost always says the right things at the right time with right intentions.

It helps to be so independent in career too, her being dependent on Khans would have brought her down in many ways like other leading actresses. N now she is married to the top guy of an influential PH.

I don't know how one can support her, except if you're someone close to her.

She's also shying away from directly supporting her. She did the same thing that the Khans did but in a much smarter way. However, she did applaud Preity's courage which is noteworthy.

Do you think she's done the right thing by coming out
in the open?
To each his own... If she felt it was the right thing to do, then it is the right thing.

What is this supposed to mean? Shouldn't she be saying something on the lines of "Of course it's the right thing, it's the only way to fight this menace"? Especially when so many cases go unreported because of fear or shame or ostracism! She should have vociferously replied in the affirmative; don't get the "to each his own" answer.

can't do anything else.

Laws are already in place. It is the implementation that will have an effect on the perpetrators.

And apart from that of course we can do more, it is every parent's duty to teach their sons to respect women and should be brought up with the right morals and values. Most of these criminals have a bad upbringing and are brought up in uninspiring surroundings.
