With the recent debates on the dancing being presented on this show, I am curious to know by the general audience on what type of dancing they like to see on this show? Would you rather see the newer westernized form of dancing? Or more of the Indian classical forms of dancing? Or a mix of both western and Indian presented in a very strong way?

The channel tends to forget that this is an Indian show. And though Western dance SHOULD be included, it should be reflected in a good, proper, decent, and strong way. It's not what Western countries want to see. It's about INDIA and what INDIA as a country has to offer. What the hell is the new form of Kama-Sutra dance or as Salman calls it - Karma-graphy? He talks about how its a new form becoming popular ABROAD! As an Indian show that is watched by families, why can't we show what our COUTNTRY - AKA INDIA - has to offer? Why so much of a westernized concept?

I would love a balanced blend of western and Indian classicals. Par woh to hone se raha. 😆 They will shove Bollywood thoomkas and Kamasutra nonsense down our throats and call them Indian.

The thing is I want to see a blend of Indian and Western forms of dance...But when they show such cheap forms of dance and claim to to be Indian or claim that its become popular 'abroad' that's a bit bothering. Yes, perform on western styles but there's a certain level that you must keep them at. Unfortunately today's generation likes seeing all of these western forms. But where's the Indian in a reality show based in INDIA?

Option 3!

JDJ has always emphasized on western and bollywood genre!

For a change, I would rather see an extra dose of classical, semi classical form of dancing.

I would like to see all decent dance forms (including the Indian styles ) . Only that makes a dancer versatile. 😃

thing about pure indian is its hard for non dancers to learn .. its even harder to pull off .. so maybe good mixture of indian folk dances , semi classical and good western and latin dances .. along with some good Bollywood

It's the concept that grabs more attention in such shows. The dance may be semi Indian/Western.
Personally, I would love more of Indian this time be it Classical, Folk, Bolly etc. The BG songs would be Indian anyway. That's my idea of entertainment.

Regarding your posts I'm a little unsure about what you mean by westernization. Kama-Sutra is an Indian form of art and it is true that it is widely popular.
That said, a dance form as such on Jhalak may be awkward for mass viewing.

P.S. I do not know if Salman-Lauren's act resembles KS.😆

I agree with most of you on the mix dance forms...but shouldn't a line be drawn somewhere?
