The Meeting

THE PALACE

Next day Aradhana arrived at the palace gates with Tara. Tara was excited to see the huge and strong gates of the palace opening for her.

She was fascinated by the beauty of that place. Trees, flowers, ponds, fountains and the scenery was captivating.

Tara noticed three trees in particular which were planted in a row. Two of them were glowing and one was dull. She asked Aradhana about the trees.

"It's King's bloodline tree. It shows the well being of the King's children. It is planted by Queen when she gets pregnant," replied Aradhana.

"So you mean these trees show the lifeline of the King's children. But then why there are three trees here? And why two are glowing and one is dull?" asked Tara after hearing about the magical trees.

"The difference in the trees is because the King had three children. First one was a son, who died moments after his birth." Aradhana replied with heavy heart.

"As per rule the first tree should have died with death of his first son. But it is still alive though dull. Does that mean the queen's first son is alive??" Tara was thinking when Aradhana called Tara to move towards the palace.

She went in to meet the Queen with Aradhana and Aradhana introduced her to the Queen.
The Queen was happy to see Tara and ordered Aradhana to introduce Tara to Princess Vasundhara and Princess Meethi as they were of same age as Tara and would be pleased to meet her.

Princess Vasundhara was very happy to meet Tara, and they soon became friends. Tara requested Princess Vasundhara to take her to meet the new princess. On their way to Princess Meethi's room they met the King.

The King was happy to meet Tara and impressed by her sweet nature.

Princess Meethi was a good person. Because of her nature, Tara soon won Meethi's heart as well and they became friends.

It was time for Tara to leave the palace. She was sad.

The Queen said to Tara, "You can come to the palace anytime you want. No one will stop you." Tara promised Vasundhara and Meethi that she would visit soon and left the palace with Aradhana.

King Jayraj was talking to Queen Nirmala about Tara.

"If our first son had been alive, I would have gotten him married to Tara. She is such a lovely girl ..." On hearing him talk once again about their first son, the Queen's heart sank.

She wanted to tell the King about their son being alive but Kalavati's warning stopped her. Looking at the magical tree planted for her first son from the window, the Queen wished wherever her son is, he should be safe.

It had been two weeks since the witch saw Tara. Vampire Nandini was in search of Tara in Storybrooke. She searched every part of it but there was no sign of Tara. She returned empty handed to the witch.

"Oh Witch! I have searched every part of Storybrooke but there was no sign of this girl. Are you sure you have seen her? Because if she existed, I would have found her by now."

On hearing Nandini's doubt on her, the witch got angry and grabbed Nandini by her hair and kept a stake on her heart.

"You are saying that I am mistaken in recognizing that girl. I am weak but I am still a powerful witch who once sees something remembers it till she dies. You might not have searched properly. You lazy vampire. You see this stake? If I wanted I would have passed this through your heart. But as everyone deserves a second chance, I am giving you one more chance."

"Go and find this girl. Search every part of this kingdom. Not a single corner of this kingdom should be left unsearched. And if this time you fail, this stake will be in your heart." Saying this, the witch loosed her hold on Nandini. Nandini got very scared and immediately left the place.

At home Tara was searching for her red scarf when she remembered that she might have left it on Maria.

"I need to get back that scarf from Mrityunjay. Tomorrow I will go to the Enchanted forest and bring it back before mom notices it's missing. After mom goes to the palace I will leave for the forest."

Next day Prince Aditya went hunting in the forest. Vampire Nandini saw him and fell in love with him. Prince Adi was a handsome and charming man. She saw the Prince surrounded by the King's men. She was not able to resist her hunger for human blood and so she compelled them and one by one killed all the bodyguards of the Prince and then appeared in front of him as a normal tribal girl.

She woke the Prince saying, "O Respected Prince please wake up and see what has happened."

When Prince woke up, he was shocked to see all his men dead. He wanted to stand up but he still had not got his full strength back, and so he was lying on the ground.

She talked to Adi and came to know about his wife Princess Meethi. In the meantime, Nandini tried to seduce him but by then he had regained his strength. He moved away from Nandini and declared his love for his wife Princess Meethi. He will not allow any other women to enter his life. On hearing this, Nandini wanted to compel Prince Adi but was stopped by Witch Kalavati who dragged her away from that place.

Witch Kalavati scolded her. "What you are doing Nandini?? I told you to bring that girl and here you are compelling the prince to love you. "

"Yes I want to compel him to love me. I love him and want him to love me. But he loves Princess Meethi. So I will compel him. And even you cannot stop me from having him." replied Nandini in anger.

Seeing Vampire Nandini slipping from her hands, Kalavati softened her voice and said "Okay. You can compel the Prince but do remember my work." Saying this she thought, "Once let me regain my youth and power, after that I will drive the stake through your heart." While they were talking, the Prince got the chance to escape from the forest.

On the other end of the Enchanted forest Mrityunjay was lost in his thoughts. He was thinking about his first meeting with Tara.

"Mrityunjay" called the prophet, seeing him lost in his thoughts. "What you are thinking?"

On hearing Guruji's voice, Mrityunjay came out of his thoughts and replied,

"Nothing Guruji. Remember I told you that I met a girl here in the woods. I was thinking about her. What was she doing here? It seemed to me that she was scared of something."

Seeing Mrityunjay's concern for his daughter, the Prophet was happy but hid his happiness by saying, "Ask her when she is here. But right now you should practice fencing. You need to be the best in it." Saying this, he left that place.

"Why would she ever come back to these woods?" Thinking this Mrityunjay started his sword practice.

Tara left home as soon as Aradhana left for the palace. She hurried into the forest as she needed to return home before Aradhana came back. She remembered her way in the forest and reached the place where she had met Mrityunjay.

Nandini returned to the place where she left Adi only to find that he was gone. She was fuming with rage.

She told herself " Next time I see you, you will be mine. If not mine, then no one else's." She again started her search for Tara but this time with more anger.

After hours of practice, Mrityunjay was covered in sweat. He removed his shirt and continued with his practice.

After reaching the place where she met him two weeks ago, Tara was confused about where to go. She was searching for a way to his house, as he had brought his horse from nearby.

Nandini saw a glimpse of Tara but suddenly she vanished from Nandini's sight, which made her think that she might be hallucinating as she has been searching for that girl for so many days.

Tara was still searching her way to Mrityunjay's house when she heard the sound of a sword whizzing through the air and went in that direction. She reached the barn and saw a man practicing with a sword.

It was Mrityunjay. She was lost on seeing him practice.

His bare broad back, his big and strong hands, the speed with which he moved his sword, the effect of each attack and the fire in his eyes had her mesmerized.

The sun rays falling on his body covered with sweat was giving it a golden glow. The sweat flowing from his head, rolled on his long neck, and then flowed to his bare back filling Tara with lust.

He turned to the left. His strong hands held the sword ready to kill the enemy.

But to Tara it was strong hands which held it, the biceps, the strength, the consistency in the hold which attracted her and she wanted to be crushed in those arms. The speed with which he attacked was never seen before. The flexing of his biceps when he attacked made Tara lose her senses.

He turned his face in Tara's direction. The broad, bare, slightly hairy chested Mrityunjay was in front of Tara. The sweat glowing due to the sunshine made his strong body molten-hot lava.

Sweat flowing down his neck, covered his chest on which any girl would like to rest her head, and flowed down to his abs.

Tara was aroused and kept looking at him without blinking her eyes.

She wanted to hug Mrityunjay and rest her head on his bare, broad hairy chest. Hug him tight and become one with him.

Lost in his aura, held by his strong hands. Hidden from world when he hugged her. To be soaked in the same sweat in which he was soaked.

She was lost in watching him.

She came to her senses when she heard, "YOU!!!" . It was Mrityunjay.

"Oh God! I was staring at him so shamelessly." Tara thought, while trying to show she was normal.

"Yes I...I came here to thank you for showing me the way to my home. Okay bye. I am going."

She started to walk away fast to hide her blush and protect herself from the effect his bare broad body had on her.

She forgot to ask about her scarf.

"Stop!" exclaimed Mrityunjay. "I wanted to ask you why you were in the woods that day? You seemed scared that day. From whom were you running?"

Hearing this, Tara stopped and narrated what she saw that day to him. By the time she finished her tale, it was dusk.

"I need to walk fast, as I need to reach home before mom." Saying this, Tara started to walk away.

"Wait you will not be able to reach home so soon by walking. Come with me, I will drop you home on Maria. If you don't mind." Saying this Mrityunjay waited for her reaction.

She knew she can't reach home on time if she walked and so she accepted his offer.

First Mrityunjay sat on Maria and then offered his hand to Tara and made her sit before him and asked her to hold on tightly as they would have to ride fast.

His arms went around her and held Maria's reins tightly as she held on to Maria's neck. She rested her head on his broad chest as Maria galloped through the woods and enjoyed the ride home.

Her hair flew in the wind and touched Mrityunjay's face. He was mesmerized by her fragrance. Her touch awoke something in him. Some feelings arose in him.

They reached outside the forest . He saw her sleeping in his arms holding him. He wanted to keep watching her like this forever.

But then Maria neighed and woke Tara and brought Mrityunjay back to his senses.

Tara, on seeing that she has reached outside the forest, immediately moved away from Mrityunjay and got down from Maria. She wanted to turn back and see him once again but her shyness made her run away without even thanking him for ride.

"Tara..." he wanted to say something but was not able to say it as she had run away from there. He smiled at this and turned Maria towards his home.

Tara reached her home moments before Aradhana arrived.

"How was your day mom?" Tara asked Aradhana calmly, hiding her panting.

"It was fine. Princess Meethi and Princess Vasundhara were asking for you. Please go and meet them tomorrow. It is very rare that princesses wants to meet a maid's girl." Aradhana informed Tara while she searched for something.

"What you are looking for mom?" asked Tara.

"I am searching for your red scarf. I want you to wear that tomorrow." replied Aradhana.

Tara remembered that she forgot to ask Mrityunjay about her scarf. "Mom I will wear some other scarf tomorrow. It must lying somewhere deep inside under a pile of other clothes." She tried to convince Aradhana to stop her search.

"As you say Tara. But we need to find that. You look pretty in that." Aradhana stopped her search.

"We will definitely find it " replied Tara and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Now what will I do? Should I go to the palace first or to the forest? I think I should first go to the palace and from there I will go to the forest." thought Tara removing her earring , only to find the other missing.

She smiled at herself in the mirror. She knew where the missing earring was.

This was quite a ahem ahem update...

Mj practicing sword fight.. my god the description u gavr... I guess more than tara I was blushing. ..

Nandu... arrrggg...adi iska nai hone wala... just forget it nandu vampire. ..

Kallo witch... actually I like her character. . Negative but strong. ...

Not like ebi kallo.. with flop plans...

Res scarf.. now that belongs to someone else dear. ...
