DOTW - Support Your Mentor - Bappi Lahiri

Hello Friends

Last Week we introduced a new game in our section Which is called Support your mentor and had asked you all to send in the entries as to for which side you are going to support.. Either For the Mentor or Against the mentor..

And now, we are going to begin with this DOTW with the Mentor who is full of gold and also called as the Disco King.. Yes, Thats right.. Its


We had asked members to PM us as to which side they want to take and here we are with 3 members speaking for the mentor and 3 members speaking against the mentor..

The Members who will be arguing FOR Bappida are:

1. spian
2. Prenz~13
3. T.

The Members who be arguing AGAINST Bappida are:

1. atria
2. Jadoogar
3. shadyhtown

And now for the topic:

Moderator's Note: The Rules To be Followed: Only Those members have registered themselves for the debate can participate in the thread and put forth their points.. Other members can just cheer them up, but should not participate in debate While debating see to it that you do not attack the MD's, contestants and the fellow members Do not bring in religious sentiments or bias Profanity is a strict No No Do not get more personal about the MD or contestant while debating.. Stick to the topic and provide points based on the topic rather than going personal If we find any member deviating from the above said rules, the member will immediately be disqualified from the team

I concur with Jaadoogarji, the debate should begin on a positive note. Waiting for input from the 'For' team. 😊

There was a good point raised by the Team supporting Bappida as to if the contestants meaning only Bappida Gharana contestants or other Gharana contestants as well.. So, my opinion is - lets stick on the Josh Gharana contestants.. I have also changed the debate topic title for others to get it cleared

I think it has to be overall performance as one of the mentor, restricting it to Josh gharana would take out spice of the debate😊

Then the debate topic will not be focussed and it will become a vast area.. The impact of his non support of the contestants during controversy will be more felt on his gharana contestants while voting.. So, lets stick on to this topic now, we will be having a round of debates where we can focus on something in vast scale..

The 'For' team seems intimidated by the 'Against' team's overwhelming aura 😉

While I appreciate the Against Team's sentiments for Bappida, they do not need to wait for us to begin. They can start whenever they like. 😊
