While Karisma Kapoor is stuck in a custody battle with husband Sanjay Kapur, looks like the actress has decided to put her troubled past behind her. Karisma, who married Delhi- based businessman Sanjay in 2003, has been staying in Mumbai since the past couple of years without her husband. While they have two children, Samaira and Kiaan Raj things have been quite strained between them and finally they have filed for divorce and both are currently fighting for the custody of their children.
The actress who has made Mumbai her base seems to have found love again. And not just that, reportedly she is planning on taking her relationship with her beau, Sandeep Toshniwal a step further.
Our source says, " While Sanjay and Karisma had been living separately for a while now, they decided to file for divorce because they realised that there was no point in being stuck in a stagnant relationship.
Things had reached a point of no return so they filed for divorce recently. Her kids are currently with her but Sanjay has filed for custody but Karisma is insistent the kids stay with her. Amidst all this, she has found a friend who has helped her tide over this personal crisis. A Mumbai- based businessman, Sandeep Toshniwal has stood by her through thick and thin and reportedly the two have been going steady for a while. She now wants to move forward in life as she has found love once again. Soon after her divorce comes through, she is planning to formalise her relationship with Sandeep. Until that happens, she has decided to stay tightlipped as she has always been when it comes to talking about her personal life." It is being speculated that Karisma filed for divorce because she wanted to move on in life.
Obviously, it wasn't possible with her being married and which is why she couldn't even talk about her relationship with Toshniwal. Her family is obviously happy for her as she has been through a lot in the past few years and close family members have already given her a go- ahead. We sent a message to Karisma but we did not get a reply.
