just went through all parts in one go ,... good start and good going yaar never felt that ur a new writer ,.. the lead of the story is very good keep it up , nice concept ,. and in a veru light way ,. its reallt felt nice.waiting for more .

They hung up. Maan is so excited to meet Geet. At last, he got a chance to express his feelings. He won't be able to sleep now.

Part-4

On Saturday evng 4:30 pm

The most awaited day has come for both. Maan in his casuals looking hot, have started 30mins early from home so that he could buy a small gift for her. He is super excited to spend some time with her.

Maan's gift

Geet in her simple pink salwar looking cute as ever.

In restaurant,

Maan was waiting already there for about 15 mins. As soon as Geet entered, he held out a chair for her to sit.

Sorry... I'm late

That's ok. What would you like to have?

Hmm cappuccino

Maan ordered cappuccino and Black coffee for himself.

Both didn't know how to start the conversation. Geet was fidgeting with her duppata. Atlast Maan asked with concern,

You look quite tensed. Is everything alright?

That brought back her sense to reality of why they are actually here and what she supposed to talk.

Yeah.. I'm fine

Letting the burden to come out from our heart will lessen it but at the same time it is like hurting the wounded part again.

This is not easy for her. She has burried all her worries inside her which made her to even forget the smile. All these years she suffered a mental torture within herself.

Maan I need to tell you something important.

Yes tell me Geet

Suddenly Maan got call from his office. He didn't attend and put it in silent and asked her to continue.

I wanted you to know...

But that phone did not leave them in peace. Again he did the same and tried to switch off when Geet stopped him,

Maan attend the call first. It might be something important.

Nothing... its just a call from office. It is not important more than you Geet. Work can wait. You were about to say something na?

She stared at him like a alien. She never expected this reply. Now she started to feel whether she deserve his love.

On getting no reply, he waved his hand to get her attention.

What are you thinking?

woh.. after a brief silence

I know we were friends at our young age but I don't know how you are going to take it now. I tried to contact you before our engagement but couldn't connect you.

Maan just listened. There was silence for few seconds. He waited for her to continue.

She sighed and continued,

Lot more happened in my life Maan which made me to loose all my hope of living.

She got reminded of those days which took away all her happiness.

Now he is worried on seeing Geet's pale face.

Flashback

(Sorry girls.. I don't want tis flashback to be long but I will give all necessary details because I wanted to write more on Maaneet. So please bare with me)

Before 5 years,

Geet has completed her B. Arch degree in XYZ college. She is always the topper in class but not a book worm. She talks only when it is necessary. She had only few friends but enjoy a lot with them. She wanted to study further so she applied for Masters degree. She wrote her entrance exam in one of the top most colleges and got the admission easily as she is a bright and talented student. College will open after a month.

One day Geet was out with her friends to the Mall. She was busy chatting with her friends exploring the places and simultaneously eating her favorite ice-cream. Suddenly a boy dashed on her making the ice cream to spill it all over her dress.

Geet- What the hell! You... before she could scold him

Boy- OMG. I am really sorry... making I'm so sorry face

Geet- watch out where you walk with a stern look for spoiling her dress as well as her fav ice-cream and walked from there to clean herself.

Her holidays went well and also was boring. Some days she stayed with her sister Priya. She was waiting for the college to re-open fast.

Atlast her new college has got open. She was searching for her class when someone called her from behind.

Boy - hi

Geet didn't said anything.

Boy - what you doing here?

Geet- excuse me! Well whom you to ask me that?

Boy- Don't you remember me?

Geet- how will I forget the moron who spoiled my fav ice-cream and my fav dress!!! she said pouting

He frowned for calling him moron.

Boy- your moron has a name, Deepak and I'm doing my MBA in the same college.

Geet- Whatever. Now excuse me. Im getting late for my class. She walked away resuming her search process.

He thought, how rude! So much attitude!. hmm.. interesting.

Its been 4 months now. Geet got new friends in her class. It was all going fine with her studies. Deepak didn't leave a chance to talk with her whenever he finds her inside the college campus. Geet at first avoided him but later both became friends. Eventually Deepak started to fall in love with Geet but didn't tell her in fear of losing her. His friends teased him a lot for being a coward. Now he couldn't take it anymore and decided to express his feelings to Geet.
