CHAPTER 35

RECAP: REY'S ACCIDENT

Swayam and taani rush to the city hospital and Rey was in ICU, they reached there and saw doctor coming out of ICU.

T: doctor, rey kaise hai? Is it serious? Hum unse mil saqte hai? Zyada chot toh nahi lagi na?

Taani started to bombard doctor with questions and then swayam calmed her down,

Sw: taani, relax. Doctor, situation kaisi hai?

D: dekhiye main aapko jhootey ummeedey dilana nahi chahtha but he is critical due to loss of blood.

Bohot blood loss hua and unless and until he is conscious hum unka condition nahi bol saqte. He has been shifted to ICCU and is kept under observation for 24 hours.

Taani was getting scared and as soon as the doctor left, she broke down. She fell on her knees and started crying in the hospital corridor. Swayam held her and took her to the chair and made her drink water.

Sw: taani, rey ko tumhaari zarurat hai. You need to be strong and agar tum aise toot jaogi toh aayush ko hum kaise sambhaalengey?

So come on, tumhaara pyaar aur prayers hi rey ko bachayengey. Keep your fingers crossed and be positive.

Meanwhile Sharon comes there with aayush and mehek, taani was reminiscing all the old moments with rey from the day they met till date. Their first meeting, their decision for marrying for aayush, their blossoming love every day, they moments they spent together before their marriage, the way they made zayaan and zehna's relation stronger and the way they both completed each other not able to live without one another.

Every scene was in front of her eyes blurring her vision making her emotional.

Aayush came near her and held her hand in his small hand. Taani looked at him and her chin quivered and

A: ro mat mumma, papa ko kuch nahi hoga! (Wiping away her tears)

She took him in her arms and he sat on her lap hugging her and slept on her chest.

The whole night taani and aayush were there and as soon as the sun rose, taani woke up and saw aayush sleeping on her chest. Sharon came and hugged taani from side

T: Sharon, aayush ko lo na.

Sharon took aayush from her arms and taani went towards a small shelf at the corner where gannu ji was sitting.

She went there and joined her hands she closed her eyes and a tear slipped down her eyes onto her cheeks.

T: bhagwan ji! Maine aapko kabhi kisi baat pe pareshaan nahi kiya, na blame kiya. Papa ke death ke baad mumma ne mera khayaal rakha hai aur aapne mere har khwaish aur maa ki harr khwaish puri ki!

Me bass aapse ek hi vinti leke aayi hu ki please mere rey ko bacha lijiye, unhe kuch nahi hona chahiye. Itni aas se bohot saarey sapne lekar humne apna rishta shuru kiya hai. Aap aise hamaare khushiyon ko cheen nahi saqte.

Pls bacha lijiye unhe, warna me zinda nahi reh paungi.

She opened her eyes and wiped her tears. She looked at aayush; he was looking at taani with a worried expression on his face taani went to him and took him in his arms and made him sit on her lap.

A: mumma, papa ne aapse yeh kabhi nahi kaha ki aap rotey hue achi nahi lagti!

Taani gave a small smile and pecked his forehead.

Nurse comes to Swayam and says,

N: aap reyaansh singhania ke family se ho?

Everyone stands up and

Sw: ji!

N: patient ko hosh aagaya hai and doctor bula rahe hai aap sabko!

Everyone rushed to the ward and rey saw everyone there. He was puzzled looking at taani and aayush also.

R: swayam, mujhe kya hua yaar? And aayush itna bada kab ho gaya?

Sw: rey, yeh tum kya bol rahe ho?

R: aur yeh ladki kon hai?

Taani was stunned for a second,

T: rey, main taani!!!

R: kon tani? Main kisi taani ko nahi janta!

D: dekhiye aap sab mere saath mere cabin me chaliye!

Aur mr. singhania, aap rest kijiye!

They all came out of the ward and

T: yeh sab kya hai doctor? Rey mujhe bhul gaye?

D: dekhiye it's the case of temporary amnesia. Bohot zor padne pe sarr ko, he forgot the memories of past 1 year,

The whole family went pale listening to this, taani lost hopes on her life now, and swayam and Sharon were scared for taani.

D: unhe hamey akela chorr dena chahiye and bilkul pressure nahi daalna chahiye unke dimaag par. Agar aisa hoga toh unka life risk me hoga!

Saying so the doctor left the place, taani was standing like a statue and swayam and Sharon were holding taani. Taani soon fainted and was shifted to the general ward.

Aayush being a 5 year old was more than scared looking at his mom and dad. He started weeping slowly on a chair and mehek wiped his tears away.

M: kuch nahi hoga aayush! Ro mat!

Aayush went to rey's ward without anyone's notice and saw rey did not sleep and was thinking something deeply.

A: dad!

Rey looked at aayush and

A: aapne mumma ko kyu nahi pehchana?

R: mumma?

A: haa, aapne mumma ko nahi pehchana aur mumma faint ho gayi!

Rey was puzzled even more

R: aayush tumhari mumma kriya hai beta!

A: dad, aap sab kuch bhool gaye? Mere guitar teacher thi mom aur aapne mere liye unse shaadi ki. Aur fir zayaan uncle bhi aaye they, zehna aunty ke saath. Aur hum sab swayam chachu and Sharon chachi ke saath icecream parlor gye jab aapka gifts ka treasure rakha ghar me!

Rey's head started to pain when he was getting all flashes and he finally fainted on the bed, the nurse arrived there with the medicines and she saw something was wrong, she took the kids out and called doctor that rey had a pain attack.

Everyone started rushing and started examining rey's EEG and ECG, taani was still not conscious and rey was under complete observations suspecting something serious.

After 2 hours of examinations he was shifted to other ward and he opened his eyes. Swayam was there with doc and rey and Sharon was with taani and kids.

Swayam was waiting for rey to say something and

R: taani kaha hai?

Swayam breathe a sigh of relief and

Sw: wo, taani!!!

R: kaha hai swayam taani? Aayush kaha hai?

Sw: rey, relax! Taani tension me aakey faint ho gayi that u lost your memory.

R: I lost my memory?

Sw: thodi der pehle u said that you don't know taani as you have lost the memory of past 1 year temporarily.

Rey was confused.

Sw: rey, chill! Relax! Sab theek ho gaya! You are normal and taani ko hosh aa jayega!

Sharon and taani entered the room with kids and taani's face was down and pale as she knew rey will not recognize her. But she was unaware that he got his memory back.

R: taani! Kaisi ho tum?

She looked at him and her jaw dropped onto the floor, swayam smiled and

Sw: taani, sab normal ho gaya!

T: matlab rey ko main yaad hu?

Sw: haa, he is back!!!

R: and all thanks to aayush! Agar wo mujhe yaad dilate nahi toh shayad me theek nahi hota!

T: kya? Aayush tumne yaad karwaya?

She held his arms tight,

T: agar rey ko kuch ho jaata toh?

A: agar aapko kuch ho jaata toh!

R: taani! Tum na! rehne do! You should thank him aur tum uspe chilla rahi ho?

He called aayush in his arms and aayush climbed the bed and sat on his lap.

Sw: guys, all's well that ends well, rey aur taani bilkul theek hai and please this is not the time to fight.

Sharon mehek aur main ghar chaltey hai and aayush tum bhi chalo!

A: nahi main dad ke paas rahunga!

Sw: beta, dad ko rest chahiye na, mom hai yah ape khayaal rakhne ke liye, hum kal subah aayengey. Aapko bhuk bhi lagi hogi!

R: rockstar aap bohot strong ho na?

Aayush finally gave up and crawled up swayam's arms and 4 of them went away.

Rey looked at taani while taani was busy peeling oranges. She was fed up with the frustration, fear and all sorts of emotions she went through in the past 24 hours and she was angrier that rey did not listen to her though she warned him that something bad is going to happen.

So will rey manaofy taani? And will taani accept his apology so soon?
