Prem Ratan Dhan Payo to have 7 Songs. Most will be romantic

MUMBAI: Highway' lyricist Irshad Kamil and singer, composer and actor, Himesh Reshammiya, have teamed up for Sooraj Barjatya's film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'. It is the second time that Reshammiya and Kamil have come together for a film. Prior to this, they had worked for Ahista Ahista' starring, Abhay Deol and Soha Ali Khan.

Confirming the same to Radioandmusic.com Kamil said, "Yes I am teaming up with Himesh Reshammiya and this is the second time that I am working with him. And I am definitely excited about it. The album might comprise of six to seven songs and since it is Sooraj Barjyatya's film, the songs are meant to be soft and romantic so the lyrics will definitely suit the theme."

The film is yet to go on the floors and is slated for a November 2015 release, the pre-production work is on in full swing and the duo has already started working on the music of the film. Salman Khan, who plays the lead in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' has reportedly confessed that he has a lot of expectations from the album. Kamil confirmed that the team will begin recording the songs in the first week of June.
