Yea I already pointed that out in my post; the exact post you quoted. What is it with people on this forum not bothering to read things before responding. The Mereya Jugni phrase has been used in poetry since the very early 1900s. However the use of the phrase does not equate to a singular origin of a song. The songs that use the phrase are all completely different songs. The tanu weds Manu Jugni was one song. The Jugni that begins 'Alif Allah chambe dhi bhuti' is a completely different poem - it's origins are pakistani and it's been sung by pakistani villagers for generations.
This is my last post on this topic. It's never-ending.
