Deepika Padukone has not only managed to prove her mettle as an actor but she is one starlet who very well knows how to maintain relationships in the Bollywood. In fact, the Cocktail babe is so good at it that she even shares great rapport with her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. However, lately Ms Padukone has become the angry young women of B-town and that wethinks isn't good for her professionally. From Rajinikanth to Salman Khan to Karan Johar, the Ram-Leela actor seems to have spoilt her equation with all of them.
Deepika miffed with Rajinikanth
We hear Deepika is upset with the South superstar and his daughter Soundarya R Ashwin coz her role hasn't been presented well in Kochadaiiyaan and hardly any critics have praised her acting in the animated period drama. In fact, Ranveer Singh's alleged ladylove is so miffed that she boycotted the film's promotions. Well, DP you can't blame your director or of that matter anybody else coz when you share screen space with the Thalaiva, it's given that you won't be noticed as much as him. Not coz you're a bad actor but simply coz Rajini Sir's star power is just too big, hai na Bollywoodlifers?
Deepika says NO' to Salman twice
Coming to Sallu miyaan, after rejecting Sooraj Barjatya's film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Dippy has once again said no to the Bhai of Bollywood. The leggy lass has now refused to do an item number in Kick which stars SK in the lead. Now this is surprising coz wasn't Deepika keen on working with the Being Human star? After rejecting to Salman's offer twice, we aren't sure if her door will be knocked the third time. Coz we all know - Bhai forgives but never forgets!
Deepika's cheeky remark on Karan Johar'sShuddhi
Talking about KJo, the filmmaker has always been fond of his Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani heroine and even wanted to cast her in his magnum opusShuddhi. But the B-town beauty chose Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani over Johar's film. And that seems to have created a rift between these two. We say coz when asked in an interview about doing both the films - Bajirao Mastani andShuddhi, DP said, "I'd love to do both films. Karan has my number, if he wants me, he'll call. I can't talk about a film before the producer has announced it. So it's only fair that we wait." Well, that isn't the friendliest reply, no? Dippy sure could have gone subtle but she is in no mood to please anybody at the moment. Doesn't that explain her angry woman avatar? It does but we just hope she doesn't go too far or else her successful acting career may just run-down-the-hill.
