"I've lost my house!"

He looked up from his file as a familiar voice heard in his room.

"Come in, first!"

She looked at him impatiently.

"Come and sit down!" He motioned her a seat and, "Have it!" He offered her a glass of water.

"Tell me. What happened?"

"I lost my house!" She repeated.

"You mean, you've lost your purse? Tell me, what was-"

"I told you I've lost my house once for all!"

"Meaning?"

"My father got to know about us and roasted me! He said he was born with silver spoon in the mouth unlike you-"

She stopped short as his face turned red.

"Hear me out! I tried to calm him in vain. At last, I left the house."

It seemed to cool him a bit, but he tried to cool her, instead.

"See! You can't do a thing like this before thinking!"

"Right!"

"Go back to your father and let me talk to him. I can-"

"No use! I know him well!"

"But- you can't stay with me now!"

"I don't! I've to live with you as your wife."

"That's the point! To be my wife, first we've to get married. All I'm asking is to wait for me to sort things out!"

"Right! What do you suggest '?

She asked hotly.

"Go-"

"Anything else?"

"A friend's-"

"Next?"

"There is a vacancy in one of the Fabi Apartment houses!' "

"Perfect!"

He stood in front of the dead body of a man, who died some half an hour before, in an accident.

It was a ' hit and run ' incident. The crowd gathered were talking about the incident, some said about the incident occurred somewhere else!

But a man in blue uniform said he saw the now dead man a few days back in his apartment houses with many toys, where he was working as a security officer.

In the house of the dead man, they were surprised to see that, there were several gold coins and diamond stones in a box and saw things were packed neatly for a journey.

They could find no phone let alone a number.

But they found a ticket for Rajasthan in one of the bags, booked for the next day.

While ransacking further, they came to know that he was an agent who would help you if you have to change gold or diamond into money (not anymore!). And it seemed he was escaping from someone, from whom he might get or have cheated the gold and diamonds.

And there would not be any complaints about this, since they were doing some neat smuggling!

When they dug the house, they found a rubber toy dog, which had an opening at the bottom and the dog was decorated in pink color markings with a kid's hand.

They suspected that he robbed the diamonds using that toy, since the opening was too small for coins and he discarded the toy there, while packing.

The first thing they guessed was the ally must be in one of the Fabi' apartments.

Prasada Rao, the security officer of the apartment houses, said, "He came here, " he took a register and moved it to him ,"last Thursday sir!"

"Everyone enters into the building should sign in this book!"

The problem was what he signed and what the apartment number he mentioned was.

"He came here that afternoon sir!"

He thumbed the pages.

"When he came with the toys, H-3's maid came to me and we were talking about the leakage in their tank. When she moved away-" He stopped to think and said excitedly.

"Sir! He started signing at the end of the page below the lines. Once I told him to sign at the next page, he did so, collected his toys and went in!"

BINGO!'

They found his signature, of course a bogus one! And he had mentioned the apartment number as D-2', the next door of the previous visitor.

"Sir, that is a vacant one!"

i can proudly say i am not confused at all...it was neat and clean...the case is pretty interesting...
