Radhika was getting ready, when Dev came from her behind and hugged her , she dropped her comb and turned to him "Now what Mr. Dev"

Dev smiled " Are you sure you can go alone"

Radhika took a deep breath and made them both sit " Dev, I am 20 years old for gods sake. Ofcourse I can manage on my own"

Dev fidgeted " I know you are 20. But don't know why, I can't feel it safe for you there.Why are you going alone, you can ask RB or some other along with you"

Radhika smiled gently " Its because, I want to go alone. I want to face my fear alone and get over it. So tell me Dev what is going to be there on menu, for the dinner"

Dev huffed " If only I knew that, mom and Dad going to conference makes me the chief chef, I won't let them go at all"

Radhika's smile disappeared for a while but it again came back immediately "They have to go Dev, its important for your Dad"

Dev frowned " Whats going on Radhs, you are getting more important to my dad than me. "

Radhika smirked "Its because, I am his favourite student."

Dev shook his head " Don't become his favourite daughter also"

Radhika sighed sadly " When I am not the favourite daughter of my father , then how can become one of your father"

Dev looked at her and then moved to her side, and hugged her from side , she rested her head on his shoulder " Radhika, it won't be like that. Don't worry"

Radhika didn't answer she remained like that, Dev let her for some time, before shooing up "Now, My dear Princess , your majesty is waiting for you there. I don't have a wish for death sentence. " Radhika rolled her eyes " If ever he try to give you death sentence, at first he will face my sword. Any way see you" saying that she left.

RamShankar was waiting for his so called daughter for 10 minutes, not that she's late but he came early. Radhika didn't speak, but she turned to move, but before leaving she spoke " Saturday evening 7:00 my home" saying that she left

Chaya was catching up with her favourite brother in law, that is RB . She was close to him always before his marriage with Soniya. Chaya snorted at thought, her sister was at first named as Samanvaya,which she changed shortly after 15 to Soniya. Chaya frowned "Radhika, what's with her?"

RB stammered a bit " Ofcoourse, if Vishaka is not Radhika's senior, how would I have get to meet Radhika at all"

RB shrugged " i got know her parents too"

Chaya nodded "She's really a good girl"

RB smiled " You doesn't even know half of it."

Chaya now looked at him with interest " What's with her and you. And by the way, why can't I meet Ruby, "

RB's smile faded " Actually Ruby was pretty busy with things, you can't meet her right now. I will get you to meet her before you both leave from Bombay okay. And same applies with Rohan too"

Chaya's face became somber " What luck is mine see, I can't even meet my son properly"

Radhika and RV are in a heated argument, its saturday and as said RV came to Radhika's place to speak with her. The conversation as usual lead to Radhika being his daughter thing and as usual Radhika became furious " You have no right over me"

RV pleaded her " I doesn't want your mom to leave. She left on her own"

Radhika looked at him with blood shot, tear stained eyes " You let her go. If you truly wanted her, or me you wouldn't have let her go. "

RV looked at her silently , she was on the other coach, he moved towards her and sat beside her , she tried to move away, but he hold her hand and hugged her from side , calmly saying words in her ear " You know what your mom was as stub born as you. Radhika who understood that she can't get loose of his grip, realised that it will be the very first chance, and may be the last chance to get her father warmths, rested her head on his shoulder " Why? Why can't you leave"

Rvc stroked her hair, sighing " You know what Radhika, there's a whole village of people who wanted me , they needed me then Radhika. "

Radhika asked him " But Mummy and me also needed you"

Rv sighed " Yes, but I know your mummy will manage to live with out me for few days. But its not the case, with my people"

"Then why did you take more time. You never returned"

Radhika came out from his hold, sitting straight glared at him " What are your ideals RV, killing people, because they opposed you. or killing innocents for your pleasure?'

Rv sighed " Radhika its difficult to explain you know"

Radhika looked at him sharply, folding her arms " I have whole day for your explanation. Hell I waited for 19 years to know why my Dad left me and my mother. Now you come, you say you love my mother, I see it in your eyes when you speak of her, But still you left her why?"

Dev was tensed for Radhika. That girl allowed her father to come for a tea chat. Its 4 hours since he came, there was no sign of Radhika or RV. Fearing what might have happened, Dev stepped inside of Radhika's flat, to find Radhika no where. Frowning he checked in her bed room, there wasn't any one, he went to the back garden, and saw Radhika sleeping in RV's lap, while Rv was stroking his hair happily. What ever he expected , he didn't expect to see that. He was startled from his thoughts when RV spotted him and frowned "Dev?"

Dev stood straight " Yes "

RV gently placed a pillow under Radhika's head and stood up came to him " Dev, tum yaha, vo bhi is samay mein"

Dev gulped at RV's stare, but he knows the man can't do any thing to him " I came here, to call for eating food. She didn't eat yet"

Rv nodded , Dev gave him a look and went to Radhika to wake her up, but Rv stopped him "Let her sleep". Dev glared at him " She was weak , she need to eat her food. Now if you move" Saying that not caring for RV's reaction, Dev went to Radhika and slightly shook her " Radhu" Radhika didn't wake up, she cuddled more taking Dev's hand into hers, Dev smiled at Radhika's antics and again tucking her hair behind her ear spoke " radhu! wake up."

Radhika shifted in her sleep " Mujhe sone do na Mummy" Dev's smile faded , Radhika took him to be her mother, it was impossible. However he came off from his thoughts and sighed , he started to tickle her near neck, she woke up with a startle "What..." She stopped seeing who it is and then blinked a few times before realising what ever happened . She looked at him "Dev, RV?"

Dev tilted his head to side and she saw Rv standing there leaning on to door. She sighed and looked at time , its 11:00, her eyes widened and she asked Dev " Did you eat?"

Dev shook his head smiling "No, I am waiting for you. You didn't come so I came in search of you"

Radhika nodded "Sorry, I slept "

Dev shook off her apology and helped her stand, then looked at RV " You are also welcome to join us"

Radhika sighed, and moved silently towards door, Rv called for her, but she stopped and turned back " You are still RV, I didn't yet forgot the day my Mother died. You might not have been the complete jerk, I expected you to be. But still you are my mom's murderer, I won't forgive you forever RV." saying that she moved towards door.

Dev looked as Radhika strode out and at RV who was standing there, once upon a time he admired this man, now he wasn't that sure. But still the man looked guilty, and for his life time he can't comprehend the reaction the man was giving, he moved to him and said softly " Are you staying for night."

RV came out from his musings and looked at Dev, he can understand the importance Radhika gave to this guy and the concern the boy had for her, if he has to agree for their marriage in future he will happily do so. But he himself doubted if Radhika will ask his permission, but they both remembered him of himself and vydehi. He sighed getting out from his thoughts and answered chuckling " I think she already dismissed me. Any way, I am fine and leaving. Ask her to be at Office by time."

Dev stopped him " Take dinner, before you leave. Its my offer, and upto what I know, a Kshatriya will never give up an offer of a RajBrahmin." Dev winked.

RV stared at him, clearly this guyw as a Raj Brahmin? But there are very few Raj Brahmin families and he was sure Nath's weren't one of them, but he fastly came out from his musings and agreed. Dev motioned him and they both left to beside flat.

Dinner was a silent affair, which killed RV a lot, hos much angry man he is, he can't comprehend in his life time how daughter of him, became this silent when neither her mother nor him had that trait, inorder to start some conversation he rose his voice " Dev,I saw diyas out side, you have good ethnic taste."

Radhika stopped eating and Dev went into hysterical laughs " Truly you thought that was me, how in life time you can? Its all Radhika's work. No way I have that much of time to comprehend. She likes Diyas a lot, daily she will keep a good light show." He explained , clearly ignoring Radhika's not so discreet glare.

RV was surprised, truly she had some good art taste "You really have a good taste Radhika"

Radhika made a face to him and answered "Thank my Mother, she raised me with more values, than properties and money could muster"

Rv sighed , this is going to be difficult. He didn't have energy to bear any remarks so he continued to eat silently observing the things, evidently, Dev's siblings were sleeping and here Radhika was eating normally, Dev too but he occasionally passed some things to Radhika, and she silently took them. Dev shook his head play fully and continue to eat. Rv observed how normal it was, in his Palace no day can he see these things, Soniya was a right git, while his mom was more pride ful than any thing. Then he remembered his teenage times when he craved for this normality an he dreamt of things which he wanted to change. Yet here today he was present, no different from his father, being a killer and also completely ignoring the law. Yes he was one of the only few living king in country, and was richest among them. He holds a lot of political power, and was one of most powerful man in country.He helped many people, may be as a king he was good. But as a father what he was? A failure, that may be a low word, a utterest failure. May be. Finally Ramshankar Raghuvansh who came top in all things got a big failure.

Radhika sat in the chair viewing at stars, its mid night, but who can care that when there are many emotions running through your head. RV loved her mother, but he choose people over her, if she got a chance what she would have done, when Radhika thought to that, she can't help but agree with him. But still she can't forgive him, he killed her mother, But the voice in her head, was saying her to forgive him. She was brought out from her musings by a voice " Didn't sleep yet"

Radhika looked at Dev who came and smiled , Dev can understand her. 't might be a few days but both were so much intertwined by hearts that, they can't imagine life with out one other. Atleast one wish of her was granted. Radhika nodded him to sit " can't sleep Dev"

Dev nnodded in understanding " Radhika what happened?"

"He said me he loved my mom Dev, I can see that love in his eyes, but he choose his people over her. If I have to say truly my self, I doesn't know what to do. What ever happened it doesn't erase fact that I lived with out him for 20 years, 20 crucial years of my life. But still I felt good when I am with him, its like I know truly that he wasn't faking his affection, and he truly want me back in my life. But I can't forgive him Dev."

Dev looked at her, if ever she spoke like this with him yesterday he wouls have done his work to stop her from forgiving that man and made him guilty, but today he can't say. The man wasn't what he expected him to be, he found a loneliness in his eyes, which he used to see in Radhika. They both were alone, atleast Radhika got that sight decreased after he confessed his feelings to her, but with RV, there was no one, the one he had she was dead. RV truly need Radhika, does that mean he will loose Radhika? Dev doubted that, may be they can't live together but they love other most, RV if what he said about his love for Vydehi ji was true, may be he will understand their love. If not was he ready to loose Radhika? Dev smiled at that thought, he will never loose her, she might be far away from him but she will always be with him, and same applies in reverse too. Dev came out from his musings and asked " Radhika, If ever I would have never confessed you my feelings and continued to hate you what would have done>"

Radhika didn't expect that question from him, but she still answered " I love you Dev, and when I say it I mean it. I will always love you no matter you love me or not. I would have done my best to keep you happy being as little as possible in your life." Dev hugged her tightly " Time will say every thing Radhu. Now don't worry and keep going on with your life."

Radhika hugged him back and nodded.

Dev finally released hug " Now,as our Princess here have a bunch of level heads to deal with tomorrow, go and rest. Can't risk you having black circles around your eyes on your first day of meeting"

Radhika smiled and left to her bed room. Dev shook his head and went to his flat.
