MUMBAI: All those who thought Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were dating, hold your horses! Ranbir Kapoor has admitted that he is not dating Katrina Kaif.

Ranbir Kapoor was recently seen arriving at director Karan Johar's birthday party with Katrina Kaif. They both were seen sharing a bottle of beer in the car which might have led to media speculation.

Ranbir Kapoor has confessed that he has been in five "meaningful" relationships, and Katrina Kaif has never been one of them. "Everyone seems to think we're together, but it's not true," Ranbir Kapoor said.

He elaborates, "She gets along well with Ayan (Mukerji) as well so we hang out together. It gets tiresome sometimes to talk about what Katrina and I have, and what we don't."

Ranbir Kapoor also said that he has never been dumped and that he has always been the one to do the dirty job. His last girlfriend was Deepika Padukone around the time Bachna Ae Haseeno' released in 2008. He also recently acted with her in the super-hit Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'.

The star admitted that he does not have a type'. Kapoor Jr. says, "I like someone who challenges me, someone who I can look up to, someone who can keep me in check. Love has to be extraordinary, otherwise there's no point in it. I just haven't found anyone who's made me feel that way.

But with 4-5 films lined up over the next two years, does Ranbir Kapoor have enough time for love? It looks like he still has a long way to go before he finds his better half.
