Geet - jaan give me one weekend at Bahamas
she made that ever so cute pleading face. He could just eat her up alive.
Maan - one condition
she hugged him instantly placing her kiss on his - any thing
Maan - no big handa thingy.. just us
she deepened the kiss nodding.
Maan - only frds nothing more between us
she just chuckled into the kiss leaving him confused with his own statement & state.
By late evening they were in Bahamas. A luxury car drove them to an isolated beach house. The moment they entered someone with same hazel eyes as hers little older & more prettier, glowing with abundance of love squealed & hugged geet.
Raji - oh I am so glad u are here
missed u so much
geet - missed u too jiji
Tim & kids too squealed - hum ne bhi miss kiya maasi ko
geet laughed - jiju ur hindi is improving
followed with laughter sound echoing the whole place
raji suddenly became silent & stared at Maan as if she has seen a ghost.
He smiled confidently. By now he understood they were her family.
He was expecting some business deal or some of the silly posh holiday plan. He never expected a family holiday. This girl always amazed him. He came along because it was geet who asked for something first time from him. He could never refuse her for anything. After all that she has done for him, a holiday was t least. He owed her that much.
Geet smiled - jiji -jiju this is Maan ..
Tim forwarded his hand - u mean The Maan Singh Khurana
inhe kaun nahi jantha. He has made it impossible for anyone to enter Indian Market
Maan was owed by the person in front of him, Tim Scott himself. The business tycoon in skin. Dressed so casually in khaki shorts & white crew neck t-shirt. It took some time to take in the aura. He is learning hindi.. he smiled at his own thoughts & extended his hand - Tim Scott right
he smiled
geet wrapped her hand around Tim - my jiju
raji was still starting at Maan & it was starting to become little awkward.
Geet cleared her throat - jiji
Maan blushed sweetly & looked down
Tim protectively put his arm around his wife - thats my wife
raji blinked her lashes couple of times & looked at geet & Maan & Maan to geet again
geet shook raji - jiji just stop it now
geet shook her head & introduced her cute little nephews
Maan instantly clicked with them.
After the kids went to sleep the 2 couples sat out in the beach. It was nice cozy set up.
Then the usual curious questions began how & where did they meet.
Geet just spun the same story that she had told during the wedding. She was in love with him love at first sight types & he was careful & not wanting any serious relation types.
Though Raji looked more into the story but Tim was trying to gauge Maan. He could see Tim being protective abt geet.
It all looked so perfect & easy for Maan to pretend to be in love with Geet. He knew exactly wat she will say next or reach to. How her fingers went around him. It all looked so natural at that moment.
Tim & geet went in to get some refills for the drinks. It was bit odd before raji spoke up
raji - I am sorry for earlier.. I didn't mean to embarrass u
Maan chuckled
raji - actually geet has never had any boyfriends
Maan was bit shocked himself
raji - this is the first time she is introducing us to any friend, , hope I didn't freak u out
Maan - Its ok,
then he smiled
actually nice to know that she didn't bring bring any boyfrds
he stated as a matter of fact with a wink
Maan - hope I didn't disappoint u
raji - no not at all
actually I am very happy of her & bit odd
Maan raised his brow
raji chuckled - more happy actually
he kind of shied
raji - since childhood, me, geet & Tim have been best of frds
when we were in 12th grade, me & Tim became involved.
He could still see a blush form on raji's cheeks when she spoke abt it.
Raji - So kind of geet was left alone. Though we always planned things together with her, but she is a smart one.. left us alone u know..
we really felt bad for her. She never made great frds after that. Her focus was always on studies & business. She hated guys because she never trusts anyone. Especially because all land up being her friend for her money. I didn't have to really worry that way.. since Tim was also from a very good family, it was much easier. But for geet.. her voice trailed off
then she smiled
It kind of feels nice that she has let some one so close to her.
Maan looked at geets direction who was giggling with Tim pouring the drink.
Raji - all that had made her a loner. But I am glad u guys r together now.
Raji could see the dreamy looks in his eyes
raji smiled - u know when ever we tried to hook her up with some one, she fought back saying she will find herself some one like Tim. Some one who would love her for her not for the Handa tag.
The topic of discussion changed as Tim & Geet came towards them with a drink.
Tim - geet I loved that whole take over thing
geet shrugged - jiju I didn't have to do all that, had u taken over Handas too
she snuggled closer into maans arm just like raji had rested her head on Tims broad shoulders
Tim - geet I couldn't u know that.. I have the whole of mine to take care off.
geet rolled her eyes
Tim - u r doing just great
she just lazily rested her head in maans shoulder.
He didn't even remember when did he have such a nice family evening last. It was cozy & light hearted talks between all four of them. Both Raji & Tim were from rich powerful families but still they were so down to earth. It was so easy & informal.
This girl in his arms was so different. She was a total stranger to him. Every day he seem to learn something new about her. Yet never left any distance. It felt like geet .. only geet. The one who came with him to India to help him out. The one stood by him to fight his hard time. He doesn't even remember until when they sat up chatting there under the stars.
