This girl in his arms was so different. She was a total stranger to him. Every day he seem to learn something new about her. Yet never left any distance. It felt like geet .. only geet. The one who came with him to India to help him out. The one stood by him to fight his hard time. He doesn't even remember until when they sat up chatting there under the stars.
It was past mid night the couples started to play games. Then headed into the ocean. It was cold, Maan spun her around & threw her into the water. She chased him back. Soon the passion was building between them. He smiled losing it, but she seemed little reserved. He was not sure it was her or because they were with her family. Just then her warm lips took his passionately. He wrapped his hand around her waist giving it a slight squeeze. It was one long breath taking kiss followed with few tender passionate ones.
They settled back in the chairs wrapping themselves in a big towel. Their were broken down from their lala hand when jiji teased - is he always so lovey dowey soft soft types?
Geet giggled
Tim - don't tell me
Maan & geet looked at each other & laughed out loud
Tim became little concerned. He knew guys usually don't drop their guard so soon infront of girls whom they are trying to impress. With their story it was more like geet trying, then why was he not being himself.
Geet read the restlessness in Tim's eyes - nahi jiju
its not like that. U wont believe the first time I met him, he literally smashed me into the wall in rage
both raji & Tim were shocked & looking at Maan for an anwer
Maan sighed - actually I had just learned that my ex fiancee was getting married to my brother
I was so annoyed at my mom, she actually wanted me to attend the wedding
raji gasped in horror.
Tim just glaring at him. He could see how maans eyes suddenly seemed lost in that darkness.
Maan pulled geet closer seeking all of her. She snuggled closer. As Maan spoke abt Nt & dev. How he saw them making out & how it all ended miserably.
Raji - poor u
Tim - that might be so horriable
raji looked at Tim in disbelieve - can u believe they actually got married in the same place & same arrangement
Tim - how low people could get
raji - u might be so heart broken
Maan just kissed on top of geets head - only until I met her
Tim - they need to be taught a lesson
he spoke gritting his teeth. Tim was really a shrewd businessman. He would go all out to get his deal, well that was same for Geet & Maan when it was abt their respective businesses. It was more like warriors discussion, nothing very compassionate.
geet giggled - we did jiju
now raji & Tim were super curious - no way u didn't
geet - he took me for the wedding as rich & famous the Handa girlfriend. Harward types..
Raji - that would have been a cake walk for u
geet giggeled
Tim - & u actually did it for him
geet nodded
Maan was drawn back to memory for those days. The way he felt with his geet then. He couldn't keep his hands off her then, though it was all supposed to be a pretend. As geet narrated Dev & Nt's expressions.. Maan could only remember melting in her arms forgetting all his anguish. She had wean him out completely in that whole week. She gave him the hope, the will, the new start, the zeal everything that was needed at that particular time of his life. For once he didn't want to pretend anymore. He wanted to feel her, be close to her with no guilt of pretending. He wanted say things in real, though thats wat he is been doing all this while.. he promised himself not to pretend. hold her for real, kiss her for real, say things directly from heart.
she blushed under his gaze & bit her lips. He kissed her nose & pulled her closer
Maan - we were so perfect together. Every one was happy he chuckled - including me
I never thought I could feel so much better so soon
all thanks to her
geet shied - all that vanished when he learned I am actually Geet Handa
raji & Tim looked amused
geet - actually in the beginning he thought I am some model or something
Raji - that's why he asked u to come along
raji & tim laughed at her plight
geet rolled her eyes - well the good part is he liked me for wat I am, he wanted me.. just me.. not the the Handa me
Raji smiled looking at them contended - thats so sweet
Tim - so how long r u here
Maan - I guess until this week end
Tim - no I mean in America
Maan - for good, I guess
Raji squealed - really !!
Tim - u r moving to America for geet?
Geet corrected - jiju we met here only. He moved before we met
there was certainly little sadness in that voice.. all of them could sense it. Just that didn't show it in their face
Tim was certainly putting Maan under scrutiny now. He was getting worried for geet. They have been best frds forever now & moreover she was his family now. He was not letting Maan do any harm to her.
Tim - so wat happened to ur business in India?
Maan looked determined - its family owned business, I decided to start something of my own here.
had I continued in India.. I would have to face people on daily basis whom I don't want to see ever in my life.
Tim was trying to read the depth there
Maan - dad, chachu & dev can easily take care of Khurana Empire
Tim - so u just let go every thing
Maan finished his drink - pretty much actually
Tim - so wat r u doing here
Maan - I have new architectural firm that is into interior designs. My frd sasha is helping me out.
Tim - umm thats interesting, for a Business tycoon to start from scratch. That surely takes a lot of guts.
Maan - I am loving it. Just managed to get couple of new assignments last week.
Maan looked really happy & contended rt now. He held her like she meant the world to me, he sounded like he was hopeful. He knew he could reach the heights. He was not afraid anymore. He had his struggle with business, his loan, his challenging new project but all that was definitely something he could easily handle now. He knew deep in his heart most of it he owed it to her. & a bit part to his work. His passion for his work has helped him keep his mind of things.
