Wow I had no idea Ekta and other Makers had been disrespecting other religions as well. I guess everyone feels more of their end because thats where their from you know?
I just wish there was a way to stop Media from exploiting certain things about our religions and creating it into a stereotype against us!! Whether Muslims or Hindu's or whatever religion.
Nibbles: I completely agree with you...I remember in the beginning of the serial that did cross my mind that why is she showing a religious man evil!??? Didn't make any sense.
Majumdar: Honestly tell me...of the two characters, the bad guy (don't know his name) and the officers..who do you think the audience remembers better?? The villian is blown up so much more with the chanting of "ALLAH". Its as if the more religious you are..the more chances of u being a terrorist or plain evil? Just has Sanyasi (Ranvir) was before.
Bollyprincess: Your correct...However I wouldn't say that we all are terrorists of different faiths. WE aren't..there are bad people from every faith..and you know what..FAITH and RELIGION have nothing to do with their negativity. Religion was made to keep us on the "correct path" and anything inhumane is not the correct path such as bombing innocent people or kidnapping children. If one was to study all the different religions..EVERY religion teaches patience, is anti-violence, and tolerance along with many other positive attitudes.
Piyualka: You are absolutely right! Ekta has messed up this drama and has lost the spark that it had before the stupid leap. She has ruinned a perfectly HIT drama serial. Now that she has no idea of how to continue the story she's taking it to stupid dead ends.
I had known that Ekta was a religious women..but I'm disappointed to see that she's a hipocrite of a women who is religious but still disrespects not just her own religion but the religion of others. Then again...isn't more than half of this world a hipocrite?
Anyhow!! I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who feels what I felt. I just wish we could do something about it......
