Ekta killed my heart!!!!

I just saw the 21rst May episode and.....I have to say I am so disappointed in Ekta. This drama has been the best of all the ones playing on Zee tv...and Ekta has hit such a sensitive point which wasn't even necessary. I mean was it really necessary to bring up "Muslim Terrorists" AGAIN?? Every other movie..the bad guy is always a Muslim. And then the name of "Allah". Why is the name of Allah molested over and over again. The pureness of Allah defied? I understand we have different religions but isn't it our responsibility to respect every religion? I mean ok for Ekta..she's a religious Hindu and most importantly an Indian. By Indians, Gandhi ji is referred to as "Bapu"...he is the founder of the nation. He was a very spiritual man and very close to his own religion. But while being close to his own religion he believed that "Religions are different roads converging to the same point." He also believed that "The essence of true religious teaching is that one should serve and befriend all." If you befriend all...then as a friend you respect your friends don't you? Would you disrespect your friends religion? No. Another famous quote by Gandhi ji is "All the great religions of the world inculcate the equality and brotherhood of mankind and the virture of toleration." (I...a devote Muslim and a Pakistani am a great fan of Gandhi Ji)

I fail to understand...why are Muslims always viewed as terrorists? Why do directors in Drama's feel it necessary to show ONLY Muslim terrorists and stress on it. Then the bringing of the name of Allah. Now many of you may bring up the popularly "raped word"...Jihad.

My friends...Jihad is one of the most misused and misunderstood words. To briefly correct your perspectives Jihad does not mean to start war in the name of Allah and to kill innocent people. NO WAY!! Islam means PEACE. How is it possible that a religion that means PEACE could openly advocate war?? Jihad is less about war against others and more about war against oneself. War against evil in one self. War to conquer the devil within us. To become virtous people. Coming to the War in the name of religion..that war is only to be fought if the NAME of ISLAM is at question or being threatened. Only because a few Muslim terrorists misinterpret the meaning of Jihad and molest the word does not mean that what THOSE illiterate terrorists believe is correct!

Sooooooooo many people watch Zee tv..most of them i think are definitly watching Kasam se as it is the best still (with Jai walia n all;-) ) Why send the incorrect message across to the many viewers? Why mislead the viewers? When children hear "Allah" now..their going to think "oh that bad guy in Kasam Se said it..it must be a bad word"....that hurts.
I know at the end of the day it is only a drama serial..and I'm not getting over hyped about it. I just wanted to clear the misunderstanding of my fellow Kasam Se Lovers, if there was any. I feel all of us viewers and fans of Kasam Se have a connection...and I wanted to say what i felt..so i came along.

It was certainly very unfortunate on Ekta and Balaji's part to depict terrorists as Muslims, very well they could have used neutral elements. But I dont think there was any attempt to systematically desecrate Islam, they showed the police officers as Muslims too, Javed and Khan.

And if it is of any solace to u, Ekta is an equal opportunity abuser of religions. I believe in another serial KSBKBT, they showed the chanting of some shlokas from the Gita against the backdrop of a rape scene.

Yeah Ekta does misuse religion alot. In Kasturi, the main lead had her shoes on as she was at the Tulsi plant. Which kind of shocked me, because I always take my shoes off at the Tulsi plant we have. Its not just Islam(Muslims), she does it with Hinduism (Hindus) too.

I am offended by today's episode. Why bringing religion and faith into a story of three sisters and why not real issue that devastate the country such as aids,dowry killing, sati
gays and poverty. She should cleanup her house first get that!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a muslim i'm christian but I totally agree with you... I mean the first terorst ever was CHristian so why don't they say its christian to the terorist instead of Muslim.
I don't agree with this Religion thing that they have protrayed everywhere.
Instead of blaming everything on Muslims and saying that Muslims are the terrorists they should do some research and see that Muslims are not the terrorist but we all are the Christians Chatolics and Muslims all together.

I agree that Mayi has depicted Muslims in a negative way by showing them as terrorists - even if the police officers were muslims, who are viewers more like to remember?!

But this is just a very small part!.....other than KSBKBT and Kasturi, Mayi has put down religion in all of her other shows as well!

What about our very own Sanyasi?!.....As a negative character he was shown to be very religious with holy ghantess playing in the background!.....But what did he do?!

Tried to ruin three sisters, take away all of his mama's wealth, and even hit his wife!

well yeh you said what i was thinking not just ekta but all shows just use religion for entertainment i hate that because relgiions such a sensitive subject and you are right in what you saying the only thing i can say is that ektas pretty relgious so i dont think she would do anything without her own reasoning for it

ya,religion if used should be used in a positive way and channels shd have some sort of censorship before airing any program.

As far as ekta maayi is concerned .i think she and her creatives really don;t know what to do therefore such stupidity is shown just to keep continuing .
