kaajjal listens to karan, and then silently disconnect the cell. After listening to Karan's phone she starts suspecting Dev again. She gets confused, thinking whom to believe. Her mind is totally puzzled and in this whole scenario, she can only think of gannu bhaiyya, "main kya karoon gannubhaiyya, aik lamhay ko lagta hai yeh mera dev hai, aur doosray lagta hai, he is not my dev, "please guide me gannubhaiyya, show me the way and help me through this".
While she is still talking in her heart to gannubhaiyya, she hears dev calling her name and telling her the car will be done in a minute, the mechanic is here. She gives dev a very strange look, and dev feels that strange look, and look at her, and ask her with all the love in the world, "what happened, are you ok?" and Kaajjal doesn't say a word except "I am ok". In her heart she's confused in accepting whether this is dev or raju and decides she will give him a chance and will try to investigate and find out facts. "I have to do this myself and this is the only way I have. I don't want to loose dev once again, but I cant let my guards go, until the right time."
While they are still waiting for the mechanic to do the car, Dev's cell rings. Its NT.
NT: "Where are you Dev, and where is Kaajjal. I am home and waiting for you two"
Dev: "o mom, are u really home, I am sooo glad to hear that, just give us an hour and we'll be right there, we are just stranded with a broken car, the mechanic is working on it. Love you mom."
All the time Kaajjal is looking at dev with the same suspision and confusion. But this time, it isn't that he is not dev, but a confusion what if he is not Dev???
After the repair of the car they drive back home, and when they enter the house, Kaajjal sees her papa, and the arrangements of the mandap and marriage thing. Kaajjal gives a surprised look, to everyone, wondering why is the engagement mandap soooo well decorated like a wedding thing. Right then, satya relaalizes her confusion and steps forwards and tells her, you and dev are not getting engaged, and smilling Dev completes the sentence, but getting married today . And there, that one moment totally freaks Kaajjal out. She looks at Dev and then her papa, and than NT and there are 1000 thoguths crossing her mind in that one moment. She sees that happiness on Nt's face, that contentment in her papa's eyes, and that love on Dev's face. She is confused to death. She doesn't know whther to be happy to cry. One moment she thinks of telling NT about he whole situation and her confusion, but then Nt's health ceases her from doing so. She is all stranded in a place called nowhere. She wants to believe Dev but she is just confused. This is day she had been waiting for, for as long as she can remember, and now that its here, she doesn't know how to react. She just runs to her room. Satya senses a strange kind of stress in his daughter's eyes and comes after her. She is standing by gannu bhaiyya and just lokking at him silently, when he comes from behind and asks her, "what is it beta, are you not happy". And then without an answer he says, " beti ki shadi baap ka sab say bara khawab hoti hai, I am sooo happy u have found the true love of your life. Now I can die in peace that I have my daughter married to the one person who loves her and whom she loves. Do u remember, u used to ask me,papa, mere khawaboon ka raj kumar kab aayay ga, and I used to say he will come, your true love will come. I am soo happy today kaajjal." And listening to this, looking at her pap's content and happy face, Kaajjal breaks down in tears. She puts her head in his pap's lap and cries like a baby. And this confuses satya even more. "are u crying because u have to leave ur papa house forever. He places his hand on her head and gently pat her, "this was bound to happen beta, all girls hve to go. This is nature. Tumhara kanyadaan meri zindagi ki sab say bari khushi ho gi. But why are you crying soo much. Is there something bothering you?" He asks again and at this, listening to everything that her papa had t say, she realizes, she cant hurt her papa any more. First when I was getting engaged to Dhruv, infornt of everyone I said no and it hurt him soooooo damn much, then when dev had this accident I went crazy and that hurt papa more than anything and now again …. O No!!!!! Enough !!!! I cant hurt papa again, he is soo happy and this time, I have to live for his happiness. I have already give him enough tensions, I cant give him this mental stress again. And then she looks up to her papa and smiles at him, "I love you papa, and I am very happy. You go downstairs and I will get ready and come down."
Satya kisses her on her forehead with all the love in the world and leaves. Kaajjal is still sitting there on the floor and thinking. After a few minutes, she stands up and goes to gannubhaiyya's murti, holds hands and prays, "I don't know what I am going to do now, but all I know is, for my Dev, and for the happiness of his family, specially his mom and my papa, I have to do this. Please give me strength gannu bahiyya. Meri madad karain, main bohat akaily hoon, aur toot chuki hoon, Dev meray samnay hai phir bhi dil dar raha hai. Aaj main aik aisay mor par khari hoon jahan sach aur jhoot main farq karma bohat mushkil ho raha hai. Agar main yeh shadi nahi karti, tu NT aur papa toot jaain gay, aur agar main yeh shadi karti hoon, tu shaid aik aisay bhanwar main phans jaaon gi jahan say nikalna meray liyay namumkin ho jayay ga. But I have decided, now I have to live for NT and my pap's happiness, and in the process if I find my happiness, I will feel as if I am the luckiest person in the whole world. I want to give dev a chance but I have to keep a strong hold on my emotions and have to build barriers around me. fo I belong to none other than Dev. And if this is Dev, to main tu Dev kit hi, Dev kihoon, aur Dev ki hi rahoon gi, but if he is not Dev than …….
At this thought she opens a drawer, and picks up the poison bottle, sees it and say, agar zindagi nay mera saath nahi diya tu yeh zehar mera saath day ga. Aaj say har lamha yeh meray saath rahay ga. Dev kay siwa aur koee mujhay haath nahi laga sakta. I will give dev/raju one more chance and in the meanwhile I will try my level best to put karan and ameesha behind bars. And time will tell if he is dev or not.
The scene cuts, and then we see Kaajjal dressed in the most beautiful ruby red Saree with the most beautiful red ruby set anyone has ever worn. She is a complete picture of beauty, innocence, and simplicity. Nandani is with her, and everystep that kaajajl takes down that staircase is mesmerizing. Dev turns around and sees the love of his live walking down the stairs, with such beautiful grace. That wedding dress, o how I have longed to see you in this dress kaajjal, how I have longed to feel you as mine only, today you will be mine forever. O his heart will play havocs to his senses, and he would give anything right now to just run and take this beautiful princess in his arms and hide her from the whole world. But he just smiles keeps looking at her. Kaajjal looks back at him, but this look, what is this look. Why is kaajjal looking at me like this. Why??????
