Karanvir Bohras Tony Stark-inspired character for Qubool Hai

As Qubool Hai takes a 20-year leap, actor Karanvir Bohra will enter the show in a new and exciting role. He will be seen playing Aahil Raza Ibrahim, a Muslim businessman. The actor revealed, "My character in Qubool Hai is like Tony Stark. He's a very sharp entrepreneur. It's a very exciting character. I don't think something like this has happened on television or even in movies before, for that matter." In an industry where getting stuck to a particular image is very easy for an actor, Bohra likes experimenting with the kind of roles he chooses. "After Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava, I needed an image change. I believe an actor should be able to do anything," he said. The dark image that the actor had showcased in the serial, changed as he experimented with different things like showcasing his dancing skills in Jhalak Dhikla Jaa Season 6 and being a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 6. He also turned producer for his Punjabi film Love U Soniye in which both he and his wife Teejay Sidhu played very positive, bubbly characters. "I wanted a TV show in which people would love me in a positive role, hence I took up Qubool Hai." Bohra also went through a great deal of preparation for this role. "This is the first time I'll be playing a Muslim character and so I had to work on Urdu and practise it daily," says the actor, who will also be seen flaunting a very sculpted physique. "I had to work a lot on my physique as the character requires a sexy look," the actor adds.
