Dear Ragna fans,am so frustrated at present,so decided to try an OS at the future track at the way I want it to be.
Kalpi was heartbroken.Yet again her mother had shown her she was second best.No sooner had the misunderstanding come to the fore and it was known that Raghav was the groom,Paaki had screamed and thrown a tantrum.Thereafter,in a huff she had left the place.Kamala had blamed. kalpi and told her that ,at no cost could she bear to see paaki heartbroken and run to console her. She had not stopped to think that her daughter's engagement had been called off or even thought of the pain Kalpi would be feeling. Raghav walked with a heavy heart to the temple.He knew fully well that was where he would find his Kalpi.He was so angry with the world.Everytime he thought that happiness was his,forces would conspire to,snatch it away.He still remembered the shattered look on Kalpi's face when Kamala had accused her.
There she was with her head buried in her legs ,her body shaking due to the loud sobs that emanated from her hurt heart.Raghav went and sat next to her and in a single movement pulled her onto his lap.With one hand he gently caressed her hair whilst murmuring soothingly into her ears.Kalpi had no idea how long she would have cried.But today it seemed like the dam had burst and the deluge of pent up emotions were released.
Long after her cries had been reduced to sniffles,she looked up at the man she loved.He had bared his soul to her that night ,she too poured out her innermost thoughts to him...those that she had kept hidden since childhood and gone on in life,as though they meant nothing.
As raghav heard her story,he fell in love with her all over again.He had admired her always ,but today he grew to respect this girl who had gone on in life with fortitude,striving to achieve the dream of her mother ,who had never been there for her.
He cupped her face in his hands and asked,"what next,Kalpi?" As kalpi looked at him,she saw reflected in his eyes ,her pain.She also saw his admiration,his respect,his love and his desire to bring back the smile on her face.At that instant she knew that Raghav would do anything for her,even if it meant marrying Paaki ,as her mother wanted...just because Kalpi had asked ,if it was what she wanted without any questions.Such was the magnitude of his love for her.It was the selfless kind where one would go through any extent of pain to see the loved one happy.She wondered how she could have ever thought that they were the two banks of the river that never met,how she could have ever questioned his love.
Kalpi ,who was in a dilemma till then,saw things clearly.She saw her mother on one side,who demanded yet another sacrifice from her.And she saw Raghav Singhania ,the man who till now had known no happiness,waiting patiently for her decision,ready to do what she commanded.
"Take me away,Raghav",she said,"away from these people ,this society,this world of mine,who will never let us be one.take me with you .I will follow you to the end of the earth.It will not be easy ,but will you be by my side and fight with me?"
Raghav's joy knew no bounds.He had come in a dejected frame,fully expecting Kalpi to choose her mother over him.But he saw the light of pure love shining in her eyes and was overwhelmed.He pulled her into his arms and kissed her with all his love poured into the kiss.Kalpi too responded .They now felt a new strength seep into the fibre of their bodies
Far away in the horizon,the sun cast its first rays on the earth.A new day had dawned.a new chapter had begun.It would not be smooth.There would be the repercussions of this decision to face,emotional blackmails,accusations,mud slinging,maybe,even character assasinations.To Kalpi it meant the loss of people with whom she had spent two decades of her life with...but did that really mean anything.They were people who had not supported her,not even her father ,who had succumbed to her mother as always.
No,it was better they were left behind...as she moved forward to a new life with this man who had always stood by her,who had always strived for her happiness,who had been behind every success of hers and who would continue to do so ,all his life.
She looked at him ,with a smile so radiant that he caught his breath.She had taken a long time to accept his love,but now that she had ,she had given up everything for him..his kalpana,his dream woman.
He felt humbled.With a grateful sigh,he looked up at the sky and muttered a silent word of gratitude to the powers above .Hand in hand ,they walked towards their new life...
