hence there wont be any person going to war before the age of 25 yrs. even yudi is 30 when he completes his studies and the rangbhoomi is set up to show their skills. no warrior was 16/18 yrs in mahabharata.

on a side note medha when it comes to chronology , thre are a lot of anomalies in KMG and criticla edition. i tought of creating a seperate thread for it but am afraid of the brickbats i will recieve as after-effect!😉
for eg . the sunda-upasunda story is narrated to yudi after 13yrs of his marriage?!!! 😕

Even yudhishthira was 41 during his marriage to Draupadi . right?
Yep.Just because it so hard to imagine people living upto 200 years, they totally discard it and would rather go with the more convincing and less logical one ..
it is kind of useless to argue over it with people who have already convinced themselves that krishna-Arjuna couldnt be 80+ during the war because "oh they look young enough"

Medha, Yudhisthir kept calling Arjun and Bhima 'Child' even after they were grandfathers.😆

Whenever I read about Virata War, I laugh so much when Arjun literally drags Uttar who is running away. That is awesome.🤣

Seriously, like Arjuna has to drag him back by hair and lift him up and what not ... Lots of manhandling done by Brih.
And whenever Arjuna blew his conch, he used to get petrified and talk about leaving, and then Arjuna would laugh and reassure him.

Thanks for the post Medha. I wonder why Karna is considered Arjun's equal in archery and as a warrior, sometimes even his superior, when Arjun had clearly defeated him here and during the skirmish with the Gandharvas as well. My apologies if this has been answered in another thread.

Oh no it is copy pasted from KMG - that is english translation of the sanskrit MB ... Indra had taken Karnas Kavach Kundal by then .. so it was actually an equal equal fight for the first time ...

As for answering your question.

Before Virat yudha, Karna was deprived of his Kavach and Kundal, Karna did not use a celestial bow while fighting in Virat yudha. I am not at all robing Arjuna off his glory, He defeated Karna ( Along with Bhishma and Drona.) in Virat yudha fair and square end of story.

He was not on his 100% when he fought Virat war or the kurekshetra, In Kurekshetra he was even weaker (mentally), Still Krishna gave him a title of 'Arjuna's equal or perhaps his superior'.

You cant compare two people when one is at his best and the other one is at his lowest. Even when Karna was at his lowest, Arjuna was not able to kill him fairly.

Now a question for you too, Why did Arjuna took 18 days to finish war while he took only 1 day to defeat them all in Virata.
