Yeah ,Arjun was merely a man with Gandiv..😛
We cant compare his strength with that of the matsya army and their king..😆Still he managed to defeat Bheeshma,Drona and Karna who were accompanied by their army..Its quite reasonable..
But later in Kurukshetra war he had to put forward Shikhandi to defeat his Pitamah. He had to seek help of his honest brother to mouth such a fatal lie..He had to use the chance when, his opponent was helpless without his weapon..Poor Arjun..He might have wasted his whole energy ,fighting them, during Virata war..
Yep, and in Draupadi's swayamvar in the first chapter( section CLXLII) ...
Arjuna was merely a man without a Gandiva ... we know how well that had went😆
But this thread is for the Virata war ...
I think there are already many threads about Kurukshetra war if you search ...
And I have always been proud of Arjuna and Bhima and even Yudhishtira ... by the time of Kurukshetra War they had learn that
Trying to embrace the people who are just waiting to stab you in the back is a mistake ( House of Lac)
Trying to make up with people who have already stabbed you once is foolishness ( deceiving in a dice game and stripping you off your clothes and honor)
Trying to be good to people who have stabbed you twice is wrong ( Coming to enjoy by seeing you in pain or deciding that killing you while you are down and helpless is the best thing)
Trying to still make up with people who stab you thrice is your own damn fault if you wont do anything about it ( going back on their words and refusing to give you what is yours after you finish your end of the promise, trying to imprison your messenger(Krishna) so that you become weak)
... you should learn to stab them behind the back too if that is the only language they understand ...
Treat them how they treat you ... Probably the best thing Krishna taught ..
Alas, they learned it far too late ... but at least they did!
Because No God teaches us to shut the hell up and keep standing atrocities and injustice done to you!
