HI all: As promised the end is here!! I hope you guys will like this FF as much as I enjoyed writing it.

PART 12

Jai and Bani went down to the kitchen after a quick shower. Bani packed some cold sandwiches, a wine bottle, some fruit and cheese in a picnic basket. Together they went into the garden. Jai spread a blanket in the lawn under the big shaded tree that stood for generations. The roots of the tree were entrenched into the ground. Jai looked at Bani and smiled, his eyes crinkled in a familiar manner as the corner of his mouth curled up.

"Bani, do you notice anything?" He continued to smile at her disarmingly.

She couldn't take her eyes off of him. For all the wrong things Pia and Jigyasa had done in their lives, there was one thing that they did right!! When Pia ran away from wedding and Jigyasa forced her to sit in the Mandap, she hated Jigyasa, she hated Jai for forcing Pia into that situation where she ran away with Pushkar. She hated his treatment of her and her sisters, she couldn't honestly understand herself how she could fall for him. He wasn't her type, she wasn't his type; she would have been happy with a middle class man who was steady, reliable and passive husband. Someone like Jai scared her to death, his temper was volatile, his nature unpredictable, his ego inflated – but for all the flaws in him, she also came to know how tender, protective and nurturing he can be. Most of all she would have run a mile if she had known his passionate nature!! Now she eagerly looked forward to his ardent looks, his lustful caresses and his burning kisses. In fact, she wanted to provoke him until he lost his control.

so bani is remembering all her moments before her marriage and after marriage and how her love has changed jai to his present one, i must say a loyal, loving, care lion right sheena or u want to give some other name? so bani is enjoying her life to full. i know now she will have this love for lifetime.

"Bani!!" Jai prompted her once again, "Do you notice anything?"

"Hmm!! What?" Bani came out of her reverie and looked around. Her eyes landed on the beautifully decorated swing hanging on the branches of the Peepal tree. The arms of the swing were decorated with jasmine garlands entwined like vines. There were silk pillows nestled against the wooden backing of the swing. On a different branch she saw beautiful wind chimes hanging down swaying gently in the wind. The iron wind chimes had a carving of two lovebirds, gazing at each other.

She opened her mouth to say some thing - the words didn't come out as she gulped the rising lump in her throat. Who would have thought that the mighty Jai Walia would display so many emotions; the sensitivity, the romanticism, the love that is clearly shining through in his eyes?

"Bani, I made this swing for you, do you like it?" Jai was unsure of her reaction, he waited with bated breath for her to voice her opinion. "I thought that we could sit on this swing, when we are old and watch the birds in the garden. When the kids leave the house, and it becomes an empty nest, you and I can still sit here, with your head on my chest or my head in your lap – especially during the moonlit nights, with chamakthi hue tarein, summery evenings with cool breeze!" he stopped short and laughed nervously. "Sorry, here I am, going on and on – I don't even know if you like the idea…" he ended the sentence midway.

so sweet of jai he made swing for bani and he is looking foward to sitting on that in his old age also along with bani. i think that their love is gonna increase in years to come.

Bani rushed and closed the gap between them. Her arms crept around his neck as she hugged him tightly!! "I love it, I thing it's the most thoughtful gift any one ever gave me!" The tears started falling down her cheek freely. She looked up into his face, noticing for the first time his nervousness, his uncertainty.

"I love you, Mr. Walia, you are the best thing that ever happened in my life – My life has no meaning without you, I would have died a very unhappy woman if you didn't come back in my life again" Jai raised his hand to close her mouth.

sheena, kya baat hain yaar ur last part is becoming more and more emotional. so bani is confessing her love for jai and very true she may have missed every happiness if she may not have came back to jai.

"Bani, please! Just the thought is making me have ulcers" Jai reprimanded her. "Let's talk about more pleasant things such as your first sentence!"

"I love you so much and I love the swing, I love the idea of us sitting on it in our golden years and passing the time idly. I love sitting on it in our younger years, like those lovebirds and may be doing other, far more pleasant things!!" Bani pulled his leg gently.

"Like what? Taking naps, or reading a book, perhaps?" Jai teased her back.

She pulled his arm until he budged, together they sat on the swing and explored the other fun activities.
"I didn't give you your present, Mr. Walia!!" Bani pushed at him slightly in order to look at him.

"I don't want anything, sweetheart!! God was already kind enough to give me everything I want!" It was Jai's turn to get emotional.

"I think you will want this!" Bani's cheeks bloomed with pink.

"If you say so" his eyes were curious.

"Let's eat our lunch, I am starving" Bani acted non-chalant.

"Bani!!" He warned her not to play with him.

"I went to the doctor yesterday because I wasn't feeling well. She called me this morning" Bani hesitated as she looked into his face for his reaction. As she saw the concern flooding in his eyes, she shook her head, "Aisa kuch pareshani ka baat nahi hai, I am pregnant, it's early yet, but I knew how much you wanted to experience the pregnancy the first two times, and it was denied to us. This time, I want you to be part of it from the beginning to the end. I want you to feel the baby's movements, see the sonograms, look at the ultra-sound results, the Lamaze classes, the labor pains and for cutting the umbilical cord after the birth." She stopped to take a breath.

great this time jai will be with her throughout the pregnancy and will experience the most wonderful experience of life.

Jai looked stunned, his mouth opened in shock. "What? But how did this happen?"

kya jai tera dimaag to theek hai, u r asking bani that how this happened.😆. mujhe lag raha hain bani ki pregnancy ki news se pagal ho gaya hain.

Bani laughed softly, "Mr. Walia, do you want me to explain birds and bees to you!! I thought you already had a PhD in it"

sheena, just bani tell that story to jai as i also want to know. please

He stared at her as if she was out of her mind.

"Mr. Walia, what do you think of your present?" Bani prompted him again.

He came out of the shock eventually, a smile breaking out on his tense face. He hugged her tightly, releasing her only when she winced.

"For real?" he was having a hard time believing.
"I wouldn't lie about this, Mr. Walia!! Yes, we are having a baby, a sibling for Krissy and JK. This time, you will play an important role in the birth of our child." Bani murmured softly against his wet cheek. "This time, there won't be any tears, only happiness – Kasamh Se"

He simply closed her mouth with his, their tears mingling with each others.

"Let's eat those sandwiches, I am starving" Bani finally extricated herself from his hold. "I am eating for two"

"Bani, I hope it's not going to be twins again!!" Jai was scared at the thought. "Also, last time it was a ceasarian, I don't want to you to go through that again."

kyon jai agar twins hai toh what is the problem with u, u will have double fun and experience.

In answer, Bani simply pulled his head to her chest and held him tight. "Mr. Walia, I am hale and healthy, the doctor thinks there is only one fetus in my stomach – so don't worry, everything will be all right, but if you don't feed me, you baccha will be very naaraz with you!!"

They ate the picnic and went inside for a short nap at Jai's insistence. He said that there is a very eventful night ahead and the mom-to-be needs some rest along with the papa.

Raashi, Ranveer, Adi, Kalpana, Tarun, Lakshmi, Rano, Sameer, Pushkar with his blind-date that was set up by Nattu, Nattu with the blind-date set up by Matchmakers.com were all assembled in their white and red clothes, the men wore cream color suits with red silk shirts and the women wore white sarees with red embroidered or red sequined blouses.

It was Ranveer and Rashi's first night out after the baby was born. Ranveer was giving longing looks at Rashi – he just wished that they could spend it alone, may be go back to his previous room at the Walia mansion. But Rashi was insistent that they wait till the party was over, so he went to the bar to get some juice for her.

Adi was equally enchanted with his bride, she was looking ravishing in a white designer saree, he saw that she was wearing a blouse with dorees on her back. He was sourly tempted to untie them and run his fingers on her long back. But she was so clever and seemed to be always one step ahead of him in evasion.

Lakshmi had no such qualms and was giving Tarun a big pappie on his cheek making him squirm in embarrassment.

Nattu and Pushkar as usual were trying to win over each other's dates by flirting with them.


Jai handed the champagne flutes to everyone, as they stopped the conversations and looked at him in expectation, he cleared his throat.

"Friends! Romans, Countrymen!!" He laughed, he sounded a little tipsy, he couldn't believe that anyone could get drunk on happiness. But it seemed he was drunk.

"Friends, I have some great news to share with you all. I am going to be a daddy again, it looks like the Walia virility struck again, I seem to have impregnated my wife successfully" Bani hit him hard on the shoulder, totally embarrassed.

"Mr. Walia, App bhi na" she hid her face as he hugged her laughingly.

Every one started applauding and the men congratulated Jai by hugging and thumping his back for his good work. The women rolled their eyes in mock disgust and hugged both of them.

"Bani, I hoped to show you one more surprise, but I am not sure that I want to do this now" Jai looked a tiny little bit disappointed.

Nattu opened his big mouth before Bani asked him what it was.

"Bhabhi, Bhaiyya has been taking Salsa lessons for you, it seems like he was a little bit miffed with John Abraham dancing with you at the Kenya Lodge, so he has hired a private tutor to come and teach him dance lessons in Samba, Rhumba, Salsa and Mambo – He seems to be very good at it. Not as good as me, of course, but for an old man, he can shake a leg"

Bani was touched. "Mr. Walia, you did all that for me?"

hai sheena ur jai is really great and sweet that he has learned all this for bani. lagta hain bani ka deewana ho gaya hain jai walia. yeh nattu dusht suspense kharab kar diya behcare jai ka or jai ko old man bata raha hain, apne mooh miya meethu ban raha hain.

"No, Bani, I did it for Nattu, I just wanted to be better than him at something" Jai teased her lightly.

"You know, I can move a little, you can still dance around me?" Bani invited Jai to show his moves.

Nattu and Pushkar asked the DJ to switch the music on. The husky and fast tone of Enrique Iglesius flowed in to the room as Jai danced to the fast beat of Bailamos. Bani looked at him enraptured, her hips swaying gently but not overexerting, while Jai gave all he is got, his legs moving to the fast rhythm of the beat.

Bani was overwhelmed with emotion, will this man ever stop surprising her.

Everyone in the room had moisture in their eyes as he finished.

yaar really u have selected g8 shayaris and so emotional, i just loved them.

"Bani, I have one more gift for you." Jai smiled, his teeth forming a perfect row in his tanned face.

"Jai, you are spoiling me too much, so many gifts, in one day?" Bani didn't know how to reciprocate all his wonderful gifts.

He reached into his shirt pocket and retrieved a small and long jewelry box. In the box were two gold chains with small pendants, one was more masculine while the other was delicate. Both of them had the letters JB embedded with diamonds and rubies.

He took out the delicate one and placed it in her neck. "Bani, would you please do me an honor and wear this always in your neck, I will wear mine until the day I die because it's got you and me, together, how we should always be!!"

Bani nodded wordlessly. She took out the chain from the box and put it around his neck.

Then she did something daring that normally she would never do. She put her arms around his neck and gave him a slow, long and passionate kiss until he pushed her away gently and carried her upstairs while every one whistled and clapped.

kya baat hain sharam haya kha gayi bani ki, kaha bech ke kha gaye hain. but really g8 first kissing in front of everyone and then he carried her, haan apni biwi ko le ja raha hai padosi ki nahin.😉

EPILOGUE

Kalpana and Adi looked at each other, both had tears in their eyes. Kalpana took Adi's hand in hers and slowly walked to his old room.

i think aaj adi ki to lottery lag gayi hain.

Ranveer sighed in relief, mamaji and papa both retired to bed, he grabbed Rashi's hand and rushed to his old bedroom.

Rano and Sameer followed, hand in hand to their room.

Tarun looked a little lost, his house was half an hour away, when Nattu took pity on him and gave him the spare key to the outhouse.
Lakshmi almost dragged him to the outhouse talking non-stop.

i am really happy for these 3 pair and hope they will get all happiness in life.

Nattu and Pushkar looked at each other grinned. They had the whole house to themselves and girl-friends in tow!! They too had their set of Shayaris and flirtatious come-ons handy!!

hope they will also get their soulmates soon.

Twenty years later, on their silver wedding anniversary the group came together as usual, the kids were older, JK was looking dashing and handsome, he had a much younger girlfriend – Pushkar and Swati's daughter Sreya. Armaan and Krissy were getting engaged that day, Aryan was trying to woo, Nattu's daughter Aashika, they were constantly in each other's face. It seemed like the sparks were flying all over the place.

Manav and Mayur looked at each other – Manav winked at Mayur,
"Chacha-ji – chalen, we have some girls to patao…" Mayur was Adi and Kalpana's son, younger than Manav but affectionately called chacha-ji.

The handsome young kids went to ask the Anya's friends for a dance.

JK, Krissy, Anya (the youngest daughter of Jai and Bani) went out of their way to make their parents twenty fifth anniversary a memorable one. They catered the food, they hired event managers to make the party a success. Most of all, they collected the photographs of their parents for the past twenty five years and created a scrapbook. They asked all of their guests to sign the book. They created a video of their parents. "Jiya Dhadak Dhadak Jaye" Played in the background as the snippets of Jai and Bani's life were shown to the audience.

Maasi and Dadi sat on the chairs with huge smiles on their faces, their teeth were gone, their hair turned completely gray, but the spirit of life was still visible in their eyes. They looked content in their budhapan.

Bani and Jai held each other's hands and went into the garden to sit on the swing and look at the stars. The love birds still hung on the branch tinkling softly in the breeze.

kya sheena string weak toh nahin ho gaya ki kahin budhapa mein dono gir ke haddi pasli tod le 😉

Bani and Jai opened a small orphanage for physically challenged kids and volunteered there after they retired. Jai and Bani climbed the hills of Tirupathi every year until arthiritis hit Jai's knees pretty heavily. The children promised to continue the tradition of climbing the hills and looking after the orphanage.

so nice of them and don't worry jai u can get ur arthritis treated and then again u can continue ur visits to tirupati.

He reached into his shirt pocket and retrieved a small and long jewelry box. In the box were two gold chains with small pendants, one was more masculine while the other was delicate. Both of them had the letters JB embedded with diamonds and rubies.

He took out the delicate one and placed it in her neck. "Bani, would you please do me an honor and wear this always in your neck, I will wear mine until the day I die because it's got you and me, together, how we should always be!!" Awwwww….me gonna cry…so sweet he is…!!

Twenty years later, on their silver wedding anniversary the group came together as usual, the kids were older, JK was looking dashing and handsome, he had a much younger girlfriend – Pushkar and Swati's daughter Sreya. Armaan and Krissy were getting engaged that day, Aryan was trying to woo, Nattu's daughter Aashika, they were constantly in each other's face. It seemed like the sparks were flying all over the place.
Oh wow..a leap…20 years on??? I wonder what jai looked like…and Bani? All their kids…awwww…such a nice way to end ur ff Sheena…loved it!!

Bani and Jai held each other's hands and went into the garden to sit on the swing and look at the stars. The love birds still hung on the branch tinkling softly in the breeze. So the swing remained intact…even after 20 years!!!

Bani and Jai opened a small orphanage for physically challenged kids and volunteered there after they retired. Jai and Bani climbed the hills of Tirupathi every year until arthiritis hit Jai's knees pretty heavily. Jai ko arthritis ho gaya..bechaara!!! The children promised to continue the tradition of climbing the hills and looking after the orphanage. So these bacche turned out ok then…so nice!!!
