Regarding today's flip re Shakuni...

Bhishma has never promised anything (queendom to Gandhari) to Suvala The boon of 100 sons is an incentive like enlarging the family...

Even Suvala is not mentioning anything- just a powerful Clan.

- from the precap, they appear fighting in broad daylight. While Arjun was recovering Bow in Darkness..does it mean they fought next day? To make the completion safe? In real MB they were safe by a fortnight, I think.

Arjuna is taking away the glory of his brothers because his own glory needs to be downplayed to make sure that the antiheroes and nonheroes are getting their own share of goldenwashing and over glorification.

Fault is with Vyas. Why did he praise 'Kiritn' so much?! In countless shlokas, Names and even 'actual feats'? Next only to 'Narayan'?! So unfair to others😭, let us do 'balancing' ( Cvs)- Rationalise Him, distort Him, Dismiss Him!

With all it's distortion SP gave me a new interest in Mahabharat so I am greatful to the show

It also les to some very intellectual and insightful discussion on this forum so that is also a plus

With all it's faults it's still a good show

Exactly.

THE biggest plus point of this show is that my knowledge of the KMG translation has increased to a great extent. 😃 Not that I'm dismissive of the other versions...but yes, an overall increase of my knowledge of MB as per the texts.

And, being involved in some intelligent discussions as well...
