When they started off, it was much less distorted than it is now. The entrance to the kridangan of all the princes are not changed. The parts shown before the princes entry are also not that distorted. So, I would not call that any resemblence to Mahabharat is fictional. Krishna's teachings, the character sketches,(as in showing us how each character is through dialogues) explaining each and every thing with example etc etc are very well done. So, it is not like any other daily soap. 😊
