Don't even bother trying to see anything original!! I just watch the few that can act if I can tolerate the scene! The distortion is really too much!

There was a grand festival on Raivatika mountain where Vrishnis and Andhakas were celebrating that is where Arjun's encounter with this beautiful maiden named Subhadra happens. He falls for her in the very first sight and he was smitten by love for her.He was in a conversation with madhav and madhav understands his feelings towards her and gives her introduction to him.
Paarth then says that she was very beautiful and charming and he would get over all the obstacles to obtain her.
then madhav says :Therefore O Arjuna, carry away this my beautiful sister by force, for who knows what she may do at a self-choice.'
Then Krishna and Arjuna, having thus settled as to what should be done sent some speedy messengers unto Yudhishthira at Indraprastha, informing him of everything. The strong-armed Yudhishthira, as soon as he heard it, gave his assent to it.'"
So it was not just paarth's love for Subhadra but even Subhadra loves him as she gives sweet smiles when she was being carried away.It was indeed a very beautiful love story which was badly distorted as a forcible marriage .

And here is the part where i should mention that in the Epic, there was actually no Duryodhan involvement at all.
Balram may have wanted it but her marriage was not fixed.

That is fictional and BRC made it famous.
