In 2009, she began her career in the Television Indsutry. Thendral became her first project on television. The immense success of Thendral landed her the opportunity to act in Sravani Subramanyam. Her latest project is Office which began in 2013 where she plays a computer programmer in the IT Industry. Apart from serials she has participated in reality game shows including Home Sweet Home, Athu, Ithu Yethu, 1 Kodi Are You Ready? and Nadavula Konjum Disturb Panavom. Shruthi's performances have gained her much popularity and praise from everyone. In 2011, she received the Dr. Lakshmi Chaturvedi Silver Rolling Trophy for Best Actress in a leading serial role from director K. Balachander.
