Just have to put it out there.

But I have a feeling he is going to be over hyped like Ranbir Kapoor.

Shame really.

I don't like Siddharth Maholtra. His acting is lack lustre and he just disappears on screen. Should have just stuck to modelling.

SOTY only produced one talent and that was Alia.

Varun has alot of potential. He was unfortunately overshadowed in SOTY as sid had a role with a wider range of histrionics.

However Main Tera Hero seems to have not been the best choice of a second film for him (judging from the promos) .

But he does have a variety lined up - a thriller (Srirams film where he plays three different generations), A rom com (humpty sharma), a dance based film (ABCD2) and a intense love story/drama with mohit suri.

Quite a range ahead! He may be the dark horse in the long race!

Well, Varun is a starkid who is handed a career (as an OT, I seem to be typing this same sentence every post for the past few days, 🤔annoying). Moving on.

I wish I could wave a wand and change that so everyone who is talented will have a chance, no godfather is needed and so on. But I might as well hold my breath and turn blue. Not ever going to happen. My only other option is to strike and not watch movies, but I cannot do that, So, I hope starkids who enter have some talent and can actually act so I don't feel like poking my eyes out or regret paying money, I want them to improve massively.

As for Varun, he has charisma and screen presence more than Sid but he is not as charming as a Govinda or Salman on screen. Has a good body and is a good dancer. But pretty much everyone except Abhi and Imran have a good body and can dance. So 50/50.

As for Ranbir, I will absolutely accept his love life, Casanova image is overrated and annoying. His talent however is not. It is like a light shining out despite the gandha gossip and image that surrounds him. He is the starkid with the most impressive family legacy, he is also the starkid that loves movies like his grandfather as a craft and art, not just as a career. Just like his grandfather had a very interesting love life, but is one of the greatest actors of India, Ranbir has the potential to be someone like him IMO. So overrated he is not..😊

😆 😆 I would have taken your post seriously had you not said the above line.

You claim Varun and Sid are untalented and unworthy and what not, they are A LOT better than Alia where acting is concerned.

A genuine opinion. Maybe ppl see something in him I don't.

I did not like Alia Bhatt then I saw 'Highway'

I don't wish him I'll, just hope he does not get overhyped. He's featured a lot these days.

They have not done a film like 'highway' yet.

However Randeep was the star of that movie but Alia Held her own.

SIDS movie, Parineeti pretty much stole the show, barely noticed he was there.

Varun movie pretty much the same story as SOTY. Spoilt rich bad boy who mends his ways. They just changed the cast except for him.

I respect your opinion. But I think he's got amazing screen presence and his dancing is out of this world. I guess I'll make my proper decision after watching MTH but I'll forever support him ❤️ Looking forward to his other releases. Especially ABCD - he's gonna kill that. And Sriram Raghvan's film is looking great as well. I see a lot of potential in him 😳

Varun is good looking (imo)
He can dance.
He has good screen presence.

We can't judge and say he's a terrible actor yet cuz he's only ONE film old, that's just unfair lol. There's always room for improvement, Let's see with his next few films..all I know is he has the potential to go far!

After watching his interviews (MTH promotions)..,I started loving him even more! He's so chill and fun!
