Today, Rudra's hopes were shattered when he saw his mother's photograph with the Thakur . All these years his heart had waged a battle against his mind . Somewhere he must have believed that perhaps there was some other explanation for his mother's disappearance. That she actually cared, that perhaps she missed him as he missed her. But seeing her as Thakurain really broke the dam. As he realised that all these years which he spent growing up missing her, subconsciously waiting for her to return, she had actually been leading a happy life. That, she never ever had a thought for the child and the husband she left behind. A child who waited for days, for her to come back.
Ashish was incredible today. The pain, of rejection, desertion, betrayal, was portrayed faultlessly.
