Meera Chopra lashes out at Parineeti

Meera Chopra, who will appear in 'Gang of Ghosts' soon, seems to not be too fond of her cousin, Parineeti Chopra.

Parineeti had previously stated,"Meera is not my cousin. She is a cousin's cousin's cousin. We don't even meet and talk. So she is not really my family,".

Meera now lashed back saying,"When Parineeti talks like that... I think it is stupid... Why would you talk like that. It doesn't disturb me as I don't have any emotional connect with her. I don't remember the time spent with her,".

She adds, "We all have been brought up together 20 years ago. We used to stay together. All brothers were close to each other before they split and brought up in different cities. Parineeti is young, Priyanka and I are of same age...We are close,".

She furthers hits out at Parineeti by saying,"Priyanka is the only superstar in the family and she will always be the only one. I have her unconditional support. She is a girl with a golden heart and I am lucky to have her as family,".

I think Meera likes PC better because PC never spoke badly about her. Kudos to PC for supporting her cousin.

Meera needs to have a seat. She herself is saying they are not close so why is she mad that parineeti said it? i dont see anything wrong with that parineeti said when asked about meera. parineeti has even said in an interview that meeria is a closer relative of priyankas and that she is not from their paternal side.

This is getting ridiculous now. Meera Chopra (no offense to her) is extremely childish. It was never such a big deal to react to someone she is NOT even close to. What's the point of this? Other than staying in the spotlight

Not everyone is close to their cousins. I'm certainly not close to my second nor third cousin. Why pretend then. She even explained it quite nicely that she considers cousins as in "first cousins".

LOL this Meera chick is just bitter to Pari because Pari didn't tweet her support for Meera like PC did 😆

Why is Meera being bitter? Like sure, they may be second cousins but not everyone is close to their second cousins. I, for instance, am close to the second cousins on my mom's side, but I have never even spoken or met my second cousins from my dad's side. Heck, I don't even know half their names! If Pari's not close to Meera, so be it! Why is Meera making such a big hoopla about it, IDK.
