Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and model-actor Katrina Kaif were spotted in a small Punjab town shooting their upcoming film Phantom'.
After shooting in Beirut in Lebanon and Gulmarg in Kashmir, Saif and Katrina together with director Kabir Khan are now shooting in the Punjab town of Malerkotla, which has been transformed to look like Pakistan.
While Saif was seen in a Pathani suit and salwar, Katrina looked gorgeous in traditional attire wearing a salwar suit with a shawl. Media reports say that Punjab Police did their best to provide security to the two artistes.
According to reports, a huge crowd had gathered to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars dressed in simple and traditional dress.
While shooting in Beirut Saif had reportedly posted, "Beirut schedule going great guns. Really enjoying myself shooting in this fascinating city."
The movie features Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif in leading roles where they appear as secret agents. Saif reportedly has also learnt Kurdish for his character.
Phantom' is said to be a counter-terrorism drama film directed by Kabir Khan, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The music is done by Pritam Chakraborty.
The film reportedly also has a connection with the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
The film is slated to hit theatres on October 2.
Some of Saif's successful roles were Farhan Akhtar's Dil Chahta Hai' (2001), his role in Kal Ho Naa Ho' (2003) won him the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor, and was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Hum Tum' (2004). He also was seen in Salaam Namaste' (2005) and Race' (2008). In 2009, Saif began film production with his company Illuminati Films, whose first release, Love Aaj Kal', which became a box-office hit.
Katrina began her career as a model and made her acting debut in 2003, with Kaizad Gustad's box-office hit Boom'.
The star was then seen in a Telugu film titled Malliswari'. And even later she got commercial success in Bollywood with Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?' and Namastey London'. She was seen in glamorous roles in a series of box-office hits, but was also criticised for having very little to do in such male-centric films as Partner' (2007), Welcome' (2007) and Singh Is Kinng' (2008).
The 2009 movie New York' marked a turning point in her career, which earned her critical acclaim and a Filmfare Award for Best Actress nomination.
