šš..Kudos cvs...and the team of RangRasiya ...keep up the good work!! Don't remember seeing such an edge of the seat episode on Bhartiya telly saabun factory!!
Some scenes will remain embedded in memory forever.
Rudra's panic the moment he senses the trap...and his terror for Paro. Although we have seen his protective side and his fearful expressions for Paro multiple times...have to hand it to Ashish that he was still capable of bringing a fever pitch desperation to his performance today. The subtle changing of emotions in seconds that his eyes mirrored during his dialogue with Paro were mind numbing. His caring, his disappointment, his frustration and helplessness, shades of pity, aggression, disbelief, fury, confusion ...it took mere seconds for him to portray a whole spectrum of conflicted emotions, and all he had were his eyes. While his body language took care of action, his eyes took care of the acting. His fear and worry for Paro stays with us, even after the screen goes blank. His heroic performance, utter distaste for Thakur, his pride for BSD, his grip on his team, all played out superbly. He made a hero look believable and very few male actors have that quality. Once again, this guy does action with as much elan as he does emotions with depth.
And for Sanaya, she barely had a few dialogues, but they were delivered with bang on conviction. The myriad shades of emotions portrayed brilliantly, be it her misguided gratefulness and utter relief at seeing her savior (lol) Thakur Sa, her bravado in facing Rudra and finally giving him a piece of her mind (yeah mademoiselle, unknown to you, not only a piece of your mind but of your heart stayed with him too š). The best her fear and worry...the classic role reversal...theek ho..dialogue...delivered bang on!! Her fear of being caught again by Rudra, the cornered helplessness and last but not the least...the final blow!! Difficult to look petrified, defiant, brave and misguided at the same time. No wonder there were shades of pity mixed in Rudra's disbelief and anger too (or was it me and my wishful thinking...againš)!!
And Tejawat...I couldn't take my eyes off his eyebrows. (seriously...??!!). Just keeping my fingers crossed that ST can talk him out of his retirement plans. A hero, however good, needs an equally brilliant villain on the other end, or the story cannot be told. No one could have played the egoistical, self centered, utterly ruthless, chameleon better than Tarun. The way he played with Paro, using her as a pawn, has us speechless.
A special mention to our darling Aman (Bhai Sa hoga tumhara...š..don't expect such adjectives from me). Rudra is indeed lucky to have him by his side. If he manages to win this battle, the credit will be equally divided between him and Aman. Padam Bhola maintains the right balance, being a friend, a confidant, a trusted aide, is no easy feat. Remarkable are his expressions, during the Rudra Paro encounter, standing next to Rudra you could sense his pain at Paro's misguided words too.
The direction...balanced beautifully on the blade, an inch here or there, and it would have been a disaster!! The dialogues, less yet impactful. The camera work, grand and impeccable. The casting of each character so mind blowing that we are always struggling to get over their performances. The costumes, had us drooling from day one. The music, be it the titles or bg score, so effortlessly involves us in the tale. The perfect pitch!! The sets and locales, always a visual treat and apt for the event. The art work, giving a new definition to the word art on the small screen. Every department coordinated flawlessly, beautifully. The screenplay, script...utterly superb!! Production values so grand, so royale, it should be an eye opener to certain production houses. The team can proudly give a pat on their backs for setting the bar a notch higher for the small screen.
Although the actors play a major part in what we see on screen, but the efforts of the many off screen make the show what it is!! From a chai wallah to a spot boy, from the production assistants to light men, from make up dadas to schedule managers...each contribute in the final perfect picture and a picture we see five days a week. If they have managed so far, to bring a show to such heights with such perfection...the credit goes to the whole team of Rang Rasiya...proud to be a fan!!
