Just a wayward thought... Considering the typical Indian-shows' ideas, I have a strong feeling that Rudra will be injured/harmed during the Mahashivrathri mela and Parvathi will save him... I mean Shiv-Parvathi-Mahashivrathri angle might be included... Do you think so too? 😉

When does Parvati save shiva... Anytime in shiva purana... She is his power.. Together they are a force.

Maha shivratri day ...in my opinion , shiv and parvati will meet and be a joint force against the evil ...as perthe shivpurana , their is a very high posibbility of them getting married on that day .

Lets see what happens and what circumstances lead to marriage if atall it happens ...

Maha Shivratri is associated with Marriage of Shiva and Shakti.
All these legends signify that this day is the favourite day of Lord Shiva and also throw light on the greatness of Lord Shiva and his supremacy over all other Hindu Gods and Goddesses.
Mahashivaratri also marks the night when Lord Shiva performed the thandava, the cosmic dance..
Shivratri is also when Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva married again.

There are many stories regarding this... During Amrith manthan, it is said that, Lord Shiva drinks the poison that is emitted from the snake into the ocean.
During this time Goddess Parvathi puts her hand across his throat to stop the flow of poison... That is the reason he is also called Neel kant. 😊 And this is why people fast the whole day on Shivrathri...😉
