INTENSE!!!! That's the only word for today's episode.

Paro's desperate, intense hatred of the marriage rituals, her panic about the mehndi rasam ... her hatred at the idea of marriage to the Jallad ...
After today's episode - I'm left only with the picture of her teary eyes staring at Rudra ... eyes filled with hate, stubborn defiance, and a terrified hopeless helplessness, as he forces the mehndi on her burnt palms.

Rudra ... the Jallad. Unforgiving, unbending ... man of stone. He may be upset that she hurt herself ... but the honor of his dead soldiers means more to him than her pain.

Ashish was fantastic ... but today's honors go to Sanaya. She made me feel every agonizing minute of Paro's helplessness and fear ... her pain and anguish at the impending rape of her soul.

Yes, he cares for her. But his ruthlessness overpowered his 'Tu Theek hai' mode today. May be I have gotten so used to him panic at her slightest pain! Though he applied the mehendi to cool off his burns, he decided to use that to proclaim he won and she lost. However a heartening moment in amidst his Jalladgiri today was when he moderated the flow of water with his hands so that it falls on her burns gently.

My heart went out for Paro... no wonder she didnt get lost in his concern like always... because the somehow the warmth was missing... or he masked it brilliantly.

I am hoping trow we will have a scene where he feeds her... preferably like the last time. It is a ritual (on TV) for the bride to be fed by the groom esp after the mehendi

All i know is that it was a super intense episode and CV's compensated last week of no parud scenes with an entire episode dedicated to them 😳
The dialogues were crisp and the acting top notch , we also saw aman- sunheri 😆 Story beginning but why is it that the only thing I remember is the parud mehandi scene and the scene in the kitchen when he softly washes her burns 😉

I think as a female fan we have tendency to drool on the hero' s N then some wr along the line we forget to connect with the pain the heroine goes through .. Today I think I m guilty as charged .. Reading ur post brought tht point home .. Yup ..Paro .. N Sanaya has portrayed it so brilliantly .. The pain the anguish the resentment n the defiance ..

I don't remember much of the episode today. Paro's pain and her eyes haunts me.

Ashish and Sanaya were fabulous.

He was worried about her burnt palms ... but he used the chance to win the challenge she herself threw at him.

Today he was Jallad through and through ... the way he forcibly applied the mehndi ... I know everyone is swooning at the scene ... but I hated it. And Paro's eyes as she looked at him are the reason ... I felt every bit of the hate and the helplessness Paro felt.

I also felt the warmth was missing ... or Rudra masked it this time ... time is running out for him and he has to go all out to break Paro. And Paro is showing no signs of breaking ... but how far will she go to avoid the wedding?

I hope we have the caring Rudra back tomorrow ... at least for a brief while.

It was super intense, Guinea ... the kitchen scene was soft toned ... but the mehndi scene was .. ufff!!! I think I forgot to breathe.

Sanaya's ... Paro's eyes ... ufff!!!! 😲😭👏
