Karthik and Raji decide to get married and are about to leave for register office..Meesai enters..Karthik and meesai exchange stern looks ..Meesai suspects Raji that she hides somethink from him..Lakshmi covers up that they were about to go to the movie..Meesai decides to stay with Raji for 10 days..Karthik is upset.Raji consolingly talks to him..and says that whoever do the mistake both have try to solve it together.

Karthik's parents visit office and distribute his wedding cards to everyone..They show wedding saree and thaali to karthik..Raji watches all these with tears..Karthk looks at her helplessly..He tells his parents about Sumathi's love and her plan of running away with her lover the day before the wedding..Karthik's parents get shocked ..scold karthik for doing stupid things..they feel how shameful it would be if the girl elopes just before wedding...they decide to call Sumathi's parents to inform them about Sumathi's plan..Karthik tries to stop them as it may spoil Sumathi's life...unable to do so ..he finally coversup saying that he was just kidding them...His parents get relieved..

Viswanathan sir advises Karthik regarding his love, marriage and professional life..He says a person's official performance is based on his personal charactorisation..If a person cant be honest in his personal life how can he be honest in his professional life..He asks him to listen to his heart..

Raji tells Sumathi's matter to David..He confuses her mind saying that it is going to be Karthik sumathi who are going to get married...Confused RAji threatens karthik that she will not be alive if karthik marries Suamthi..But the next day she says sorry for her behavior ..and tells him that she will stand by him always and will rescue him from his marriage..

Sumathi's lover calls her and informs that he cant come to India and marry her..Shocked Sumathi tells her friend about this..Her friend advises her to forget him and get married to Karthik..

Karthik tries to call Sumathi to know about Arun's arrival.But Sumathi doesn't pick up his phone.Karthik and Vishnu tells Sumathi's friend that they want to meet her.Sumathi comes to Karthik's home.When he asks her about Arun she tells that she doesn't know anyone like Arun and she doesn't love anyone...she acts as if she doesdn't know anything about this drama...Karthik gets ferocious...tells her that he also doesn't know her..Sumathi cries and threatens him if he doesn't marry her, her family will die ..Irritated karthik slams his head with his hands...
