I didn't get that bit.

Al is added infront of names. A lot. I know many people who have Al infront of their names.

It's common among Arabs too.

Writer Wake up, do some research first!

I was thinking the same, a lot of Arabs hav al in their name, don't think the writer knows

Yep a lot of Arabs have Al in their names and it's usually added before their family names

Surnames that begin with "al" often refer to the place where someone's ancestors were born.
It's before the surname..
Not before the forename lol!
