Agree.. AL is very common not only in Arabs but in Pakistan too.. Al-Amin... AL-Saeed are extreme common names in Pakistan.. Kuch bhi dikhatay hain...

I liked the episode overall. It didn't have much of substance but they had to give a base for further drama so this episode was required otherwise Zaya eloping with papers wouldn't have made sense.

I don't know about Al thing so no comments :)

Well I live in Saudi Arabia and Arabs here have names beginning with Al. Its very common. So Even I was really confused as to why Aaliya stated that :/

Episode was an okay okay for me. Nothing interesting.

I have studied arabic Al is not used for first names it only used for surnames or titles given to a person. Sometimes the title given to the person becomes soo common that people don't realise thats actually not their really name. Arabs generally call people by their title rather than names.
