Today's Take - Letters From a Son to his Mother

Rudra leaves on a mission ... so the cvs accounted for his absence smartly.

The two brothers discuss Rudra and Paro's dilemma ... both are right in their place, yet both are so wrong about the other.

Dilsher ponders Rudra's childhood again.
Paro comes to give him his inhaler, and sees the letters from a distraught son to his runaway mother ... Her tender heart melts reading a child's heartbreak ... a child abandoned, promising to be good if she would only come back ... now a grown man, who has lost faith in himself because of the abandonment in childhood. Her Jallad ...
Of course she doesn't see the photograph of Rudra's mother ... yet. 😛

Sunehri and Maithili have planned a surprise to distract her ... a sweet girls' scene ... and Paro ponders after they sleep, as to how much love she has received here ... Sunehri and Maithili ... and the Jallad?
As a filler scene, this was infinitely preferable to anything else!

Thakur is roaring mad ... he wants the address of Mohini stat ... and if his stalker calls him with the news that Paro is with Mohini, he can take that news and stuff it ... He wants the address!
Did Thakur not figure out that Mala is Mohini's sister? Or does he not the address of their haveli?

Sumer seems to be less cold blooded than his mother .. is he really not happy at the talk of killing Rudra, or is he just trying to get out of his own problem? So he calls the Thakur to drive his own bargain ...
I loved Thakur today! 😆 His arrogance, his attitude ... don't call me, I'll call you ... and you don't know how to bargain ... here's the bargain for you. 20 lakhs for Paro baisa in one hour.

So Sumer does the needful ... or he thinks he does.
Any betting it is Maithili under the blanket, and not Paro?!

An episode without Mohini is nice ... she is really overpoweringly negative. Thakur is much better ... his dialogues were equally punchy, and his acting is awesome! He reduced Sumer to the level of a stammering schoolboy, after all Sumer's talk about doing business man to man. 😛
And it was good to see Sanaya back on screen. As I thought, they seem to have postponed the stalker hitting Paro on her head till Rudra comes back.

Diya on the contrary I think , the plate hitting scene may happen tmrw , exactly at the time when maitheli is kidnapped by sumer . Their has to be a reason why paro is not in the bedroom ...
To me those words by chachasa were prophetic " paro baisa needs to close her eyes and open her brains " ...this is how she would start thinking ...

Its my guess ofcourse 😆Lets see how it goes tmrw .

Very good episode today , hats off to the CV's to turn it around so well so soon. Sanaya was awesome in the letter reading scene ...somehow I think , paro will be the one to empathasize with rudra first , find out abt thakuriyan and fall in love first ...I guess also all part of stockholm syndrome ...thats how the story is going. ...

Tarun ie thakursa was superb ...he really controls his scenes so well ...udit ie sumer was truely sounding like a schoolboy infront of him 😆I loved the scene when he sat like a truant kid infront of his parents room , demanding his mum make up with him ...he is a rogue .

Lovely post Diya...and loved the episode too.

Had mentioned the ransom track this morning on another post and it happened pretty quick. Thought they would drag it for a couple more episodes.

Sumer is good at numbers. one lakh that goes into his mommy's kitty to prove himself and the balance five to the one threatening him. Nothing more nothing less gadhedo kahi ka...

Sanaya once again was awesome in the letter reading scene.

Wonder who it is. Maithli was shown on the bed, so if not Paro then who? So is it Sunheri? but would he not recognize her?

I liked the episode so far best among this week I think this night will not complete before Ashish return
the Letter scene was good , plus the Maithli paro scene, methi si Goriya😃
Thakur seems more hot while being angry, this Man is full of ego , how could a woman challenge a man😆
How can a mother leave a child, only may be when his life is in danger, cant find any other reason than this

Diya I was not sure if we will get a take from you today. So, I wrote the following on another thread, so copy pasting it here.

Yes, the team is managing very well in an emergency situation. Today they used Paro as a means to project Rudra's feelings and to further give her an insight into her jallad's psyche. Sanaya was brilliant it that scene, her voice modulation, teary eyes and expressions were perfect in creating empathy.

Sumer as expected has thrown a wrench in Mohini's plan and good to hear he is interested in his own money making schemes and least concerned with taking anybody's life or with keeping the haveli like his mom. Infact he thinks quite lowly of Mohini's deals.

Thakur was deliciously menacing today. I have a feeling that there maybe an ego clash between Thakur and Mohini all for the benefit of PaRud at some point.

Liked the Sunehri, Mythali and Paro scene something light hearted and girls bonding, but wished they showed a flashback of Bhindi and mamisa when Mythali mentioned "mykaa", am sure Paro would have some thought about them.

Tejawat is nothing less than a hero! Only thing is he is hero in a negative role! I liked him when he was talking to Sumer over phone! So powerful! Sumer would look like a rat in front of him!

Sanaya is wonderful in emotional scenes .. Those letters really brought tears in my eyes.. I can't think of the mental condition of a child being abandoned by his mother .. However, to me, Sanaya looked more beautiful in that scene with Sunheri and Maithili. She looks the best when she miles..

I also liked the fact that they covered Rudra's absence with a mission ... not by any kidnapping or something like that!

One thing I realized today .. Women like Mohini are respected by none, not even by their biggest allies. Today when Sumer was planning to double cross Mohini by taking things on his own with Thakur, he maligned Mohini saying that she is sharp by her tongue only, not by action. I felt I just pity that woman -Mohini. She thinks her sons are loyal to her, they understand her! What a loss!

Sunara,
I will answer you in detail later ... am rushing out shortly.

I think the cvs have done well with the Sumer Thakur track as a filler ... it is light, entertaining, and redeems Sumer somewhat ... he is a bad boy, but not an out and out villain ... and he will be one of the reasons for Mohini's downfall.

Same with the Paro Maithili Sunehri bonding scenes as fillers ... though in retrospect, they serve a bigger purpose than just fillers. Paro has always been one to look on the positives ... she has found two sisters here in return for the two that she lost ... as always, she looks forward, not back ... because if she let herself look back, she would break into pieces. Like Rudra does ... he has never ever gotten over his mother's abandonment, and that is what makes him essentially a weak man.

Not sure, Guinea ... if Paro gets hurt, Rudra has to be around to lagao marham 😛 so I don't quite know how they will work that scene into the show now. Unless to bring home to Paro that Rudra is indeed her protector, and she is in danger from someone other than him. That is the part she doesn't believe so far, which prevents her from believing him about Tejawat.

If they are going the Stockholm Syndrome way, they still need to bring more of Paro's feelings and thoughts in, rather than thrusting Rudra's pain down our throats at every moment ... I loved the Paro letter reading scene, Sanaya always brings the emotions alive ... but that followed the Dilsher Danveer talk about how wonderful Rudra is and how he loves his job ... too much of poor little lost boy Rudra again, it becomes an overkill. I feel that now they have to start showing Paro reflecting on how Rudra has saved her on multiple occasions if they want to show her changing feelings ... his mommy issues have been shown many times over.

Thakur is awesome ... and the actor playing Sumer is damn good too ... in their scenes, he held his attitude with the Thakur, but his being reduced to fumbling school boy by the canny experienced Thakur, was well brought out. Excellent writing by the cvs, and excellent acting by both players.
