Soon they reached home. Khushi loved the house and their room too. Everyone had light breakfast and pastries and rested.

Later Arnav told di that he is taking khushi out and will be late at night. In his room he told khushi that he has a surprise and gave her a saree to go and change. She came out and got ready. The saree was beyond words and she looked ethereal. He put some delicate diamond danglers in ears. Her delicate mangalsutra complemented her saree. And his mother's diamond and ruby bangles matched her saree. She looked devine. And he slid a beautiful all diamond studded star shaped watch into her hands lingering along with kisses. Khushi was surprised to see the watch, it was beautiful and she gasped and said "its so beautiful but it must be very expensive, you should not spend so much on me, already you are spending so much on my treatment and this trip, I could not even afford even a bit of it... " Arnav was shocked, her words speared his heart with knives, butchering it. His own accusations of the past had come hurling back at him. he felt all angry on himself.

In instant of time, he had cornered khushi and pushed her into the wall with his body, his eyes brimming with tears. He wanted to say something but his lips betrayed him and instead he pressed them against her soft lips. Khushi could not understand what made him angry, but his kiss told her that he was self-loathing himself for something. After the kiss had calmed him a bit, he cupped her face and said "Khushi I never meant all that bullshit about status and money. And I know you too know it. So never think like that. And you are the only one after my family on whom I have complete right to spend my money on, Khushi you have all rights on me, I belong to you, so all that is mine is yours. And I am hurt that you still do not accept what is mine. may be I am being punished for hurting you and I deserve all of it."

Khushi could not control and said "no no Arnavji , I am sorry , actually I have never been pampered like this. I always had to struggle with my expenses. Even sometimes, I used to cut on my expenses. I have never being spoiled like this. I am not used to so expensive gifts. I did not want to hurt you. I am sorry"

With that khushi hugged him and he reciprocated it back. He said " adaat nahi hai toh aab aadaat daal lo. I got this watch custom made for you. I wanted to keep your amma and mine mamma always together with you. Waise bhi you deserve all of it. So aagli baar never question. Waise bhi main sab apne liye kar raha hoon. But Arnav diverted her attention to himself so that she could not see the banner of graduation night and college hoarding of "London school of Economics"
