Nargis-Freida on KWK' episode to air in late night slot
Nargis Fakhri & Freida Pinto get raunchy on 'Koffee With Karan'
An episode of hit TV show Koffee With Karan' featuring actresses Nargis Fakhri and Freida Pinto has been scheduled in a late night slot on Star World India due to its "adult theme".
Indian Television reports that both actresses were very forthcoming in their answers to Karan's queries about love and sex. The channel, which airs Koffee With Karan' at 21:00 in India, will telecast this episode at 23:00 to avoid getting on the wrong side of the regulator/government.
Star India head of content - English GECs Rasika Tyagi said, "The girls have been very naughty! Staying within the IBF guidelines, we didn't want to air the episode before 11 pm. The alternative would have been to edit out a lot of the conversation, which we chose not to do. The episode is worth staying up late for."
An edited version of this episode will air on the channel the following week. In the UK, Star Plus will air the edited version at 19:00 on Sunday 9th March.
