It was mostly a filler episode, with very few Ishita scenes, because of Divyanka's absence I guess. This was expected. Nothing really happened in the episode.
Mrs. Bhalla looked upset with Ruhi choosing to go with Ishita over her. I know her neutral/positive attitude towards Ishita will not last long now. Mrs. Bhalla is going to be the next grey/dark character in YHM for a while (probably will be effective after Ishita/Raman fall in love). It's a trend in pretty much every Ekta show. Ruhi choosing Ishita over Mrs. Bhalla will be the trigger. I hope I'm wrong, but let's see what happens. Today's disappointment in Mrs. Bhalla's face just seemed like Ekta was going to make the mother in law negative at one point in this show as well.
Shagun... oh man. She doesn't seem half as bad as Ashok. She does have feelings for Ruhi but her materialistic views have clouded those feelings for her daughter. I actually felt kind of bad for her when Ashok was lying about promising marriage to her. She is a puppet in his hands and she's doing it because she expects lifelong riches. Ashok just wants to bring down Raman and Shagun feels bad about it, but her materialistic views are just more important than humanity for her.
Why hasn't a DNA test crossed Raman's mind at all?
I forgot to add, I loved the Ishita-Raman phone conversation and the Mrs. Bhalla/Mrs. Iyer scene!
