Part 13
Khushi nodded but gasped when she was about to slip but Arnav held her and pulled her up much closer than before.Khushi thought she forgot to breath as she looked deep into his chocolate,brown,deep eyes.There was something magical about them,which Khushi couldn't help but admire.She felt hypnotized as his eyes bore into hers,as if looking into her soul.
Arnav was only a few inches away from her.His eyes traveled down to her features.Her soft,smooth cheeks held a small blush which he often didn't see.He looked down at her lips.They were trembling as if waiting for him to make his next move.He looked back up to her eyes but they were closed.Arnav securely wrapped an arm around Khushi's waist and pulled her towards him so that there was absolutely no space left between them.He brushed his lips against her trembling ones.She gasped and that was it.Arnav placed his lips on her fully,capturing her sweetness.Khushi kept her eyes closed and slowly responded back.As he deepened the kiss,he let one hand wander off to her hair,caressing it.They broke the kiss and gasped for air.Arnav felt intoxicated and that was a first.He pulled Khushi back into his arms,kissing her again and again.It felt like she had a strong grip on him and was the only one who could control him.He finally,after what seemed like hours,let her go.

Arnav sat up with her and leaned towards her "You look so beautiful Khushi"
Khushi bunched the sheets and stared at Arnav with a small hint of pink touching her cheeks "A-Arnav..what's g-going o-on?"
Arnav gently pushed Khushi,making her lay on the bed and hovered over her "Nothing...I just want to tell you that you are the most beautiful girl I have ever met"

"I love you so much" Arnav admitted.

Arnav slowly opened his eyes and closed them feeling the sunlight.He opened them again and looked at his alarm clock.It was 9:30.He was late! An hour late! For the first time in his life,he had a full night's sleep without that horrible nightmare.Arnav tried to get up but was pulled back.He felt something shuffle against him and go still.He turned and saw Khushi cuddled into him.He tried to pull away but her grip was very tight.After a few struggles he succeeded and got up to take a quick shower.He got ready and told Hari Prakash to make sure Khushi had her breakfast and was comfortable before leaving.

Employees were chatting happily knowing their boss was not present.They took full advantage of it and began to fool around until "GET BACK TO WORK BEFORE I FIRE YOU ALL!" Arnav yelled from the entrance of the building.The employees scattered and rushed to get their work done.
Arnav shook his head and went up to his cabin.He felt much better than the rest of the days,probably because of the full amount of sleep.He wondered if Khushi had anything to do with it.He shook his head and began going through his paper work.

It was 1:00 PM.Employees were having their lunch while Arnav sat in his cabin doing work.Arnav sighed and leaned back in his seat closing his eyes.
"Arnav" Arnav heard a familiar voice.He opened his eyes and looked around.Khushi was sitting on a chair staring at him.
"Khushi? What are you doing here?" he asked.
"I think I...I am in love with you"
Arnav widened his eyes "What? What are you talking about?"
"No" she denied "I know I do not have an attraction for you which will go away in a few days or weeks..I know it's there to stay...I know I am in love with you"
"Wait what?" Arnav said totally confused
"I am"
"Khushi?"
"Yes I am" she said.
"But we just met" Arnav said utterly growing confused
"I don't care...I love you and I am not afraid to admit it"
Arnav froze.Those were exactly the same words she had said from his dream.Suddenly there was a knock on the door "C-Come in" he said still staring at the girl before him.
"I brought lunch" said a chirpy voice.
Arnav snapped his head to Khushi who was smiling brightly at him.He turned to look at the other Khushi but she was nowhere.She had disappeared.Arnav stood up "Wait,if you just came now...then who?Who was she?"
Khushi looked at Arnav confused "Who?"
"The girl who looked like you who was sitting right here" Arnav said,getting a headache.
Khushi looked around the cabin "But there's nobody..Arnav are you okay" Arnav looked around one last time and slowly nodded.He sat down letting his eyes wander around the room a few more times.Khushi sat on the chair across from him "I brought lunch" she said pushing the lunch box towards him on the table "Hari Prakash told me you didn't have breakfast so I brought you a big lunch" she grinned.
"Wait..you cooked?" Khushi nodded "You know how to cook?"
Khushi nodded again "I learned from the orphanage"
Arnav nodded and gave a small smile.It made him feel happy that she had cared enough for him to make him lunch and bring it even though they hadn't known each other that well.

After a nice peaceful lunch,Arnav invited Khushi to stay in the office for a while.Khushi happily agreed.She was sitting down across from him,playing on his laptop while he was signing and going over some paper work when suddenly Arnav heard some voices
"You look really beautiful" he heard his own voice.
"Thank you" he heard Khushi's voice "The brightest one is my mom,the second biggest one next to it is my oldest sister and the small one next to that is my second oldest sister"
"You believe they are stars?"
Arnav stood up.Khushi looked at him questioningly "Um Khushi..did you say something?" he asked.
"No..why?" she said.
Arnav shook his head "N-Nothing"
