Yes definitely its surprising to see the extent to which Suraiyyah goes to trouble Shabana,, like she dervies some sort of pleasure from it...but i believe the show in its initial phases, only a month or two old..even then they are hinting on the bitterness..its something that is yet to unfold..n we have hints ...we are guessing...its supposed to be a 300+ show. I think it would be better to focus on the leads n let the other characters grow gradually on the audience.
Besides we are yet to discover a lot of things for eg why would a lady like Nafeesa bear with a cheating husband, tolerate a second wife n bear the not giving birth to son tag ...
I think its not something lacking but rather an interesting aspect of the show. Lacking is a negative term, dont you think :)
I think that a 300+ episode drama doesn't mean that you divide the expected # episodes by the number of characters and focus on only certain ones. The puzzle has to fit together to create a picture. Needless to say, Suraiya is 1 of the bigger pieces here.
Hmmm I disagree. The characters on focus are the Main Leads. They are called Main for a reason :) I dont think right now Suraiyyah's back story plays a hand, it will be just another story...When it should come up it should come with an action, something that turns the story to a new direction rather than just being narrated to us. Obviously that's just what I would like, it's in the maker's hand at the end.
Coming to your next point. Have they divided the episode into chunks ? Not. Beintehaa has an amazing narrative, everybody gets their due space, and we hardly see a character disappear for an odd no. of days. They all have their shining moments and their downfalls too. I would exclude the kids, as they are child artists, it's better to bother them less. 😛 I would like it to stay that way. If we have ZaYa, we also have Suraiyyah and her antics, we get to see how her mind works, didn't she tell the reporter to give Zain's name on being asked, covering her tracks well. Sending a copy to Shabana, isn't it a part of the story. A story moves in present and has a flashback too, it's not necessary that the audience gets loaded with the full story, it's better to let things to unravel. Eventually the maker's will have to answer this question. And I have full hopes they will, Thank God Beintehaa doesn't leave things behind. The mall incident will unravel in it's entirety and so will the other tracks I believe.
As for "lacking" being a negative term for you, it is all about our perspectives. Maybe you look at it is me saying " Glass is half empty".But I used the word " ONLY" place where BI is lacking because I look at it as glass is already half full and just needs to be filled to the rim 😊
Ofcourse, you Love Beintehaa and so do I, that's why we are here 😳
I perceive the term Lacking as a deficiency or absence in the show. Which for reasons stated above I dont find necessary to be told yet given it also helps me to come to terms with who Suraiyyah is myself rather than be told who she is as a preconceived notion which would be derived from a past event.
I think we are very differently opinionated people, Let's agree to disagree :) 🤗
