Wonderful post Lashy !! 👍🏼 Your love and sincere efforts shine through this one. Another thing i loved was the simplicity, of language and of putting your thoughts across. Am in accord with ur views on the 'khema' issue. it was more of symbolic nature,hence the added 'soul-talk'. also Rukaiyya is not the sort to take lightly the encroachment of her property,in this case, she thinks that she owns Jalal. So she would not have tolerated him being out and spending the night time with Jodha. Wud have made some noise to indicate her awakeness and awareness.Plus she wud have sulked on the return journey and be bitchy to Jodha as well. My guess is that after sharing a sweet eye lock with Jodha, Jalal must have wished her a tender "shabbakhair Jodha begum" and gone back inside.

As for Jodha, she will take her own sweet time. Coz i feel that this is the first time she is developing and also experiencing such deep,strong, soul-stirring feelings for a man. But there is still something that is holding her back. How i wished for her to answer Jalal's query with it being basically his "saath" that she enjoyed on the journey. But the lady totally turned the topic 😭

No,my dear, I am not, and I do not think it will last less than another week.But I finished my reply to Sandhya on my own thread and then I read this, so I wanted to tell you how much I liked it.

Lashy, I do not think we are going to get anything as uncomplicatedly and unassumingly charming as the Seth-Sethani episodes ever again. The CVs are a most unimaginative lot; they dragged the GJ track for weeks and this one lasted less than a week.

Tonight's episode was cringemaking, what with Jodha arguing, going by the logic of her bhashan, that even a mass murderess should be left off if she is expecting, because of the child's need to have his/her mother. And if the husband is an accomplice, he too should be let off as the child needs a father. At this rate, there will be rush on babymaking by present and potential criminals!.

One does not know where to begin with a refutation of such a disastrous thesis, and I do not propose to chafe my eyes trying.

It is a pity poor Javeda is not expecting as well, she could have been Adham's talisman when his sins all come home to roost at long last. But alas, she will be childless, and so Adham can be safely defenestrated, without having the benefit of Jodha Begum as the attorney for the defence.

I do not expect anything nice for the next week, except perhaps for the sambrani thoobam scene. Good things never last. I cannot stir up any interest in whether or when there is a big blow up between them.

Well, it is 9:15, and I shall go early to bed. Should do my poor eyes some good!
