Yes, u gave a very thought-provoking interpretation...never imagined it that way.

What I loved about the dream vs reality clash was the contrasting images of him starting the fire and in reality running at break neck speed toward it and how she subconsciously coonects the second image to the memory of him protecting her from kaki.

subconsciously she is connecting the dream to reality but conscious mind is questioning the reality (mind you not her dream) as its unable to hack this puzzle called Jallad.. so she dwells deeper.. well thats Paro for you.. as they said she believes in dreams... till she makes peace between her dreams and reality, she will have to struggle

exactly... I did fall in love with that scene as its a complete package.. very subtly done...

they used the right person to act as her conscience..Sunehri..the only character untouched/unworldly.. You know the contrasting background music they played when showing two different sides of the coin(Sunerhi's and Paro's interpretations) did the trick too..

the way they showed surge of Paro anger and her wanting to break Sunehri's bubble by telling her how horrible that very brother was quickly drowned by Sunehri's reminding how her brother got hurt to protect Paro. It does not make sense to Paro and so decides to hold her peace.

paro and rudra's midnight conversation was just complementary to each other, her parting line along with that question left him speechless and muddled with confused emotion while she tossed and turned in her sleepless bed struggling to end the thoughts and concerns about her savior turned destroyer turned savior that evades uninterruptedly in her dreams and now in wakefulness .Is he really the savior in disguise of a destroyer,as his name suggests-- destroyer...of evil. That poignant pause...the gap between a destroyer and destroyer of all evil, she is doubtlessly hovering at that point, oscillating between the two great extremes and she is yet to know that great truth which her subconscious mind is faintly hinting ...and all will be changed forever !

Yes Rudra is stumped...he is used to women like Laila and Mohini..not like Paro ...Laila and Mohini fight back to keep him from mowing them down, they fight to either get something out of him or deter him getting something from them... but Paro lets him past the defenses and see the destruction he is brings along... he can't take it...

In that particular conversation... even though he shuns her her gentle concern gets to him. He expected her to get out at once as he offhandedly dismisses her... definitely did not expect her to still care enough to coherce him to tend to his wound... he was not used to it. Laila though wanted to tend to his wounds did not care more once he rebuffed her. ... that stumps him... some members of this forum interpreted it as he becomes suspicious and ask her why she was doing it as he is still the same Jallad who killed her said 'husband?' ... But I feel Rudra's defenses failed, the wall he built so carefully around his heart cracked in that one moment and he needed to protect himself before more damage is done by goading her.. sort of self defense mode of convo from his end. He gets success to some extent when she remembers all what he has done but then she is what she is... Paro the gentle soul.. can't be a Jallad and can't stop caring.. and so Rudra gets another dose of Paro's medicine.. like it or not!!!
