As there is no smoke without fire, the social corridors seem to be buzzing with the rumour of a suspected saas-bahu split in the Bachchan abode.
Aishwarya and Jaya Bachchan have always kept close to each other at public events but the cold wave between the two is now out in the open. The mother-in-law and daughter-in-law feud seems to have overtaken the Bachchan household as Aishwarya and Jaya are rarely spotted together now.
As of late, the Bachchans attended Kokilaben's birthday bash recently but the Bachchan ladies were not spotted together. While Aishwarya Rai kept close to husband Abhishek Bachchan and Tina Ambani, Jaya Bachchan mingled with the other guests at the do.
Though Aishwarya and Jaya graced Ahana Deol's wedding reception along with the Junior and Senior Bachchan but the friction between them could be felt by the shutterbugs and the guests. Also, Aishwarya Rai was missing at the Screen Awards red carpet which had Abhishek, Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan in attendance.
