Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has quietly and steadily made a mark for himself in the big bad world of Bollywood with his second film Hasee Toh Phasee.
In a recent interview he confessed that he got his director, Vinil Mathew to edit a scene in which he was shirtless, as he wanted people to focus more on his acting ability rather than his body.

I saw Hasee Toh Phasee and he wasn't that great... his dialogue delivery sucked and he lacked charisma... I will admit however that he did improve a lot from SOTY... but then again SOTY was poorly written by Rensil D'Silva and poorly directed by KJO so we can't blame Sid for that...

WOW!!! It's rare to see such diplomatic replies on this stupid forum! Hats off!

Loved it. 👏

I never watched Soty, so had no opinions regarding his acting. But after watching the movie, I can say he was good and looked effortless as Nikhil onscreen. It was an honest performance and he stood out well beside a strong actor like Parineeti. I do think he needs to work on his dialogue delivery though as he speaks too fast at times. But he was likeable for me onscreen and yes he showed potential.

Regarding this forum and its opinions , unfortunately its always biased and like playing a game with different fanbases to settle previous scores. Very little true appreciation of work for any actor. One is mercilessly bashed whereas other is worshipped and its like pattern of changing seasons.

thankyou!
I see that yours is an honest opinion...
and yes...I agree with you about the second part...
People are either biased towards the stars they like or mindlessly hate the stars they dont.
Genuine judgement is rare...not only in this forum...but in this society, this world.

Well said, yes its in the society itself. But this forum or rather IF is very amusing imo. Every one is either overpraising or overbashing unecessarily to counterbalance each other opinion.

And you are welcome. 😊

Nimmi, nice post, btw. I was only appreciating the other person's reply (style-wise, that is). Didn't really mean to let you down or anything. Sorry if it came across that way.
