Ranbir, Ranveer or SRK who il star in Shuddhi

Karan Johar's magnum opus Shuddhi has been lying in limbo with no leading star cast finalized yet. After Hrithik Roshan's exit and Kareena Kapoor dilly-dallying, the makers are going through a casting crisis. Now, it's heard that stars like Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan are under consideration to play the lead role.

Ever since Hrithik Roshan opted out of Shuddhi, there have been speculations that Ranveer Singh might step into the breach with Deepika Padukone playing the lead actress. It's even being said that Ranbir Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan are also under consideration for the role. Since both these actors are Karan Johar's favourite, possibility of seeing them in Shuddhi is high.

As a daily reports, "And now comes the news that Shahrukh Khan who possibly has a most packed calendar of the lot is now a choice (for Shuddhi) after the casting has been done."

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone has refuted the rumours of her being approached for the movie. Deepika Padukone clears the air on Shuddhi'

There were even reports of the movie being shelved. However, Karan Johar has taken to Twitter to confirm that Shuddhi is very much on. "SHUDDHI will release on Friday the 25th of December, 2015... the Lead cast will be announced shortly," Johar tweeted.

It would be exciting to see who finally gets to sign Shuddhi, which is based on the theme of reincarnation. Will it be Ranbir Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan, Ranveer Singh or someone else?

they should cast Alok Nath. Iss aadmi mein sab kuch shudh hi shudh hai.

If the budget is 150 crs they shouldnt cast ranveer singh !! I say go for SRK

I love Ranveer, but if they cast him, they would *have* to halve the budget at least to make it viable. The same for Ranbir.
