Agree. Sa is quite an expert in manipulating and outsmarting her family, so I also don't expect that Shekhars would have clue always, but there are simple things which can parent can see through and not be shown as clueless as Ira-Alok;
- Talks about her future plan; she has already completed studies and has gone through a broken engagement, so what next? All parents would question this.
- It's quite funny that her friends Ankita, Saurabh etc are still studying and a college environment is shown while Sa completed her studies nearly a year back? What kind of friends is she mingling with?
- Have her parents not put any restriction on her expenditure / going out, given that she often boozes?
- Don't Ira-Alok feel the need to meet the counsellor?
A lot is not convincing about Sa's story, but well it's all for drama's sake.
I also don't get why Anandi does not want to disclose anything to Ira-Alok? Anandi should not be holding such serious matters to herself. She should have alarmed Ira.
