Five rats comes in and screams at Anu and Mano..the latter looks like he swallowed an entire monkey (the said monkey had ginger in his mouth)...Big-mouth Arthi comes out and shushes Anjali only to get her share...courtesy, autowala. Anjali lits into her and asks her to adukkufy Rajesh. just who are they to go hurt her friend and what right do they have to proclaim that they are Five rats' relatives? that is true...those nandri uLLa naaigaL cannot be related to the rodent family.
She asks them to maintain their distance and goes out..while the whole family stands in shock...minus KKK (must have been to the ration nyaaya vilai kadai to get her next lot of costumes), Anandhi (still considering quitting) and abhi (crying her heart out somewhere abt Thols decision to dump beautiful-both-inside-out-anandhi)

iva moonjiyai paartha piragu...MKT will never dare to sing...'vadhanamE chandra bimbamO' again...Chandra all polished spit and shine, looks the perfect receptionist reports for duty....she is welcomed by her 'boss' who tells her that she will be dealing with multiple personalities..(not disorder) in her course of work..may have to greet people from different regions, so she better be prepared for all circumstances. Chandra gets petrified and says what happens if some undesirable thing happens..(yeah! dream on...yEdhO andha porukki Satish nalla mabbula thappu paNNannu athanai pErum nidhaanathula irukka maataannu think paNraa pOla)..Boss says she has to handle all...pala nErangaLil pala manidhargaL....dialog again..and Chandra answers the phone...

home, sweet home...bajari baama (chithi) is trying to console the true heir of Chandra's....azhugai niruthavE illai.
and chithaps gets irritated..pinna, sarakku adikkum bOdhu chumma meena edhirkka vandhu 'sarukku vechirukkEn' aadinaa, rasikkum. instead, constant azhugai...so he bickers and wife says, this is how it will be in a household and he better get used to it. Chandra comes in and konjufies her kid and chithappu gets all his maanam and rosham together and comes and yells at her for letting the kudumba maanam fly in wind...words are exchanged and he accuses Chandra of prettying up to mayakkufy men...she says, in her profession, mak-up is necessary (no, it is not a spelling mistake nor a type - she said maak-up) and then corrects and says, hence, she used make-up..and she is also a kudumba kuthu viLakku, etc...Chithappu is not content and says enough is enough. ladies should not step out of the house..and then Chandra says if you men - pointing to both him and the useless Satish who by now has come into the room...(TV vEra illai..soodaa serial live-aa kidaikkaradhai yEn miss pannanum?) - stay home and not earn, it is up to us females, to go out and get some money to support this family. TV raises his hand and Chandra stops him and says, don't go about raising your hand for each and every thing. What if I raise my hand in retialiation? will you be able to tolerate it? This infuriates TV and he screams some more...calls for Satish's interference...he dutifully obliges and says he has observed Chandra's ill words to his dad and is that the way to talk? TV screams some more and says Chandra, who got pregnant and vayathula oNNai kalyanathukku munnalayE vaangindu vandhuttu pEsa koodaadhu...to which Bajari screams her share and asks him to stop it...and asks him to point-blank to get out...TV is stunned and then she asks Satish to stop everything and take his dad out. TV mutters while being led out...Bajari hugs a now-happy baby (adhukkum bore koranjadhu) and cries, turns sideways, sees one more kuLam ready in making in Chandra, hugs her and weeps some more.

Birth of Ganga...not from Siva's head but from Thaila's womb...

Ganga'ru kutti meets Thols - again in a construction site...and talks about her dad's treatment and apologizes for his behaviour the other day at work. Thols pooh poohs it (all in the name of love) but Ganga insists on kottufying it all; Thols wonders how a dad can mistrust his own daughter and Ganga says it didn't start now; ever since her birth, or even before, she was an unwanted burden..hence, his hatred..

aiyagO!!!!!! flashback mode....Thaila....(ganga's mom) is in labor and does her dose of screaming and screaming...(btw, cant the directors say that she is in labor and just show the hospital?..do they have to show the entire labor pain procedure in detail...with a close-up of her mouth while screaming?) outside, a younger (obviously) Thirumalachari...in his salwar (male equivalent being an elephant colored safari suit) - makes him look much younger with his pencil dark mustache....is treading the floor...with an anxious boy and a little girl in tow..Uma and Bala...

He recalls the jOsiar's words that it will be bad if Thaila delivers a girl...the nurse promptly comes out and says that it is a girl...TMC recalls jOsiar's words again...and goes in determinedly...Thaila is all proud but her fuse dims looking at her husband's face. He asks her to recall what the astrologer said...right on cue, four policemen come directly into the room...(idhu Grand central station dhaan...no concern for a just-delivered mom) and asks TMC to come with them for enquiry as there has been a case of bribery against him. This sets TMC seething who says, en parambarai enna theriyuma?, how can you accuse me, TMC, of taking bribes? I am a very honest, sincere fellow....but the inspector wouldn't hear of it and asks him to come now..TMC glares at the baby and tells Thaila that as soon as the peedai is born, trouble has started for him...and goes off.

Next, Ganga tells Thols that - back to flashback mode - when Thaila was taken home from the hospital, TMC stopped the car midway near a remote house, called out for some woman..(they show all this) and hands over the baby to the lady and reminds her of all the things he has told abt the kid. Thaila is shocked and TMC tells her this is just for a year, a safe period denoted by the astrologer...and the baby will be taken care of by this woman in a good way and after the said year, they will take Ganga back..Thaila protests and protests but TMC pulls her by the hand towards the car.

yesterday's episode, if not for a man in deathbed, was chock full of humor and comedy of errors...and the last laugh was on Rajesh.......and us....

Guru and Rajesh try out Arthi's number from a PCO and Guru listens avidly and then says, all he hears is some female saying, please check the number you have dialed (in tamil)..Rajesh gets more antsy as he feels the effects of poison doing its wonders in his stomach. The shop-owner is watching this drama with worry and interest. Guru tries again and it is just then Arthi sets her cell phone for charging. Guru says line kedaikkala and Rajesh says, enakku mudivu kedachidum pOla irukkE. then 'line pOguthu by Guru and Rajesh - naan pOyiduvEn...

scene transfers to Abhi's. Arthi sits down to do something and Anu comes by with an armful of clothes, unplugs Arthi's cell phone to plug in the iron. As expected a brief tussle and exchange for words follow and Anu says that she is pleasant to all the other family members and it is only Arthi she is having problems with. guess what - you are being very difficult, obstinate and demanding, tells Anu. Mano comes in and asks both of them to chill out and Anu just walks away.

Here, a very perturbed Rajesh asks Guru to try the landline and they borrow a rupee from the shopkeeper, Guru says 'numberai pOttuttEn' and Rajesh says, naan adhukulLa mandaiyai pOttura pOrEn'. and Arthi picks up the phone and a very inebriated Guru tells her that he has admitted Rajesh in so and so hospital after he consumed poison. Arthi is shocked and rushes outside. Rajendar mama is watching all this drama from inside.

PCO - Guru tells Rajesh that he has done as promised and now Rajesh wants to hurry up to the hospital. Guru looks at Rajesh longingly and with emotion (clean up your dirty minds, readers) and tells him that he will be there for him. Rajesh asks why Guru is crying and the Guru says, just because and then he starts foaming at the mouth. Looks like our Baasha deduces at that time just like us that in his state, Guru had switched bottles and he took poison. Rajesh is now alarmed at the rapids coming out of Hipster. More alarmed is the shopkeeper. Guru says, that is what must have happened - in his confusion, since both bottles looked similar, he had drunk the contents intended for Rajesh...so saying, he slumps..Rajesh who is now out of his -pain-in-stomach-am-going-to-die stupor, calls out for an auto, with their help, takes Guru to the hospital.

Hospital - Police come and interrogate Rajesh and the shopkeeper says it looked like Guru and Rajesh were in trouble and then this happened - enna mun virOdhamO? Rajesh shouts why he shd surmise like that and then it is Guru's parents. The mom is praying for her son. She tells the inspector that though Rajesh and guru were good friends, nothing came out of it and it badly influenced her son. Also, she brings out the Alams matter and says, maybe Rajesh wanted to finish off Guru coz of that. Rajesh keeps crying he wouldn't harm his friend, it was all a mistake but he gets beaten. Arthi hurries up and hears the whole thing. Now Rajesh says, the poison was intended for him...coz he had personal problems with his wife who refused to live with him. So, he wanted to try this stunt; Arthi flinches and is angry, shows disgust. Inspector beats Rajesh some more and finally (phew!!!!!!!) someone better teach this stupid female abt humanity to a kind being..(the kind being, being Rajesh) Now the inspector is sure it is all a concocted story...how else will a wife be here to corroborate his evidence when she even refused to live with him? He tells Rajesh that if Guru dies, then he is in a kanji...(sorry, can't use the word 'soup' with reference to autowala)

Abhi construction high level meeting with low-level employees, sans Athimber. all the lowlife jandhus - krishnan, basker and Ganga are present. Abhi looks vere pretty in a green saree. Rajamani K again talks abt her woes and Ganga lays out a plan. She tells that they can sell the 7 apartments. Abhi asks her point blank if it is her own idea or that of Thols'? Rajamani K says it is a good one and that way, she can ward off her impending financial doomsday. Abhi says no, under no circumstance, we will sell those apts. KichKich chimes in support of Abhi. He quotes that money invested in buildings never goes waste...and says, which business did not suffer a loss? Abi says, it may look as though they are in a fix now but they are sure to come out of it. doesn't Rajamani trust Abhi? if so, believe in her. there is a workaround. also, Kich Kich says, even if we had got all 10 apartments, we would have demolished all those apartments and it would have been a while till you saw your money. RK agrees to this valid argument but now it is Ganga who delivers her two paisa opposition. She says, all said and done, it is true that it is RK's decision and money and they shd understand her position. She angered all her partners, sent them out and invested hugely in this project which by the looks, is going down the tubes. So, she has to protect her investment. Abi chimes in and firmly says, that she absolutely refuses to sell those 7 apartments and when it came to Adhi or Abhi, RK chose Abhi and that trust will be realized soon and Abhi will make this project a huge success, in spite of these minor bottlenecks..(no, she was not talking abt Rajesh and Hipster).

Abhi says, I know Thols and you all think he is behind all these distasteful happenings but I know there is someone manipulating events and by Jove, I will expose who it is who is framing Thols (a good man) and deliver this project. Ganga's face falls literally to the table as she looks on anxiously. Hallelujah! at last Abhi acting with the right dose of determination in the right direction....ooops! forgot to mention - the camera pans to Basker's and Krishnan's not-so-happy countenances as well. this doesn't bode well with either of them....

prediction - next scene - we will have Adhi foaming at the mouth...hope Thols uses the power of attorney to the benefit of Abhi, cutting Ganga's already big nose along with Adhi's pinocchio one.

Update for Tuesday 19.09.2006

First scene

Scene where Karpagam and Anu are having a pow-wow, with Karpagam blaming Anu for starting a fight with Aarti and Anu saying Aarti started the fight. They go on and on and Mano and Rajendran mama get involved blah, blah,blah… (Not worth the effort to write this down) Karpagam says that she is worried about Aarti. Mano and Rajendran set off separately to look for Aarti

Second Scene

Guru is still being treated in the hospital and Guru's mother is polambaling about her good son being let astray by Rajesh. Mano arrives and stands around looking clueless. Doctor steps out says Guru is fine. They troop in to see Guru and inspector asks Guru who is responsible for this situation and Guru points a finger at Rajesh and faints away. Rajesh looks terrified; Guru wakes up and explains the whole sorry story. Aarti joins the mle. Inspector gives Rajesh a piece of his mind and yells at Aarti too. Rajesh explains that this was a way to get Aarti back in his life. Aarti yells right back at him and walks off in a huff.

Next scene

Three flat owners who are creating problems for Abhi are there and Abhi is in a vicious mood today. She tells them off and says that they have signed an agreement and that they should abide by it. The flat owners say that they did not sell because of Thols and that he was the one behind all this. Abhi bluntly tells them that it is not Thols but someone else is responsible for this and they have been given money to create this situation. The three feebly protest. Abhi then says that if they do not get out, she will engage the services of some rowdies (enter long lost Sivadas maybe??) and will throw them out. Three are taken aback and say that they did not expect Abhi to say something like this. Abhi says that she has tried to behave like a lady with them however since that does not cut any ice, she will have to resort to these means to force them out. The three look shocked as Abhi grandly sweeps out…

Adhi office

The three flat owners come to Adhi's office and bleat out their troubles to Adhi. Adhi assures them that nothing would happen to them, he is supreme, Abhi is making idle threats, etc, etc and sends them on their way. The three come out and see Abhi standing outside Adhi's office. Abhi smiles knowingly and says that she now knows who is behind all this and she will take care of them. She stomps into Adhi's room and as usual Adhi starts yelling. Abhi plonks herself on Adhi's chair and starts using his computer!! Adhi is shocked and yells some more. Abhi asks him to shut up and says that so far she has been quiet and has not retaliated to anything that Adhi has done. She says that she is done with being a good person and from now onwards it was going to be her life's ambition to ruin Adhi. She will hunt him mercilessly and destroy him. Adhi looks angry and scared at the same time, Abhi looks triumphant and walks out without a backward glance….

Brief Update for Thursday 21.09.2006

Krishnan Sir tries to instigate Abhi against Thols but Abhi puts him in his place saying that she knows that Thols is not in the wrong. Masteri at Abhi constructions tells Abhi that she should keep her friendship with Thols and not let external forces influence her.

Abhi flashbacks backwards and forwards about all her time with Thols and thinks about what a great friend he was in her times of grief.

Adhi meets with Ganga and asks her to get the deed that the 10 flatowners signed. Ganga is reluctant, but Adhi bribes her saying if she does this he will get the land registered in her name. Ganga agrees.

Adhi and minister having a conversation. Adhi tells minister once Ganga ceases to be useful he will send her off by giving her 5 to 10 lakhs and he has no intention of giving any property to her.

Rajamani madam is ill and Ganga is babysitting her. Rajamani saying how her sister's son was coming from Singapore to assist her in looking after her business. Ganga has a conversation with this nephew, Ranjan who vazhunjifies over Ganga over the phone.

Abhi confesses to Karpagam that she now knows that Thols was not responsible for any of the incidents that she accused him of. She expresses her concern as to how she was going to talk to Thols and ask him for forgiveness. Karpagam reassures her and asks her to talk to Thols and that everything would be allright then.

Update for Friday 22nd September

Aarti apologises to Karpagam for her behaviour and asks her to forgive her. Lots of crying and drama. Karpagam says that she will always forgive her because she is her daughter but she is concerned about Aarti. She says that she should go and live in her house with Rajesh and that Rajesh was essentially a good person. Aarti thinks back at the promise she made Sundari and tells her mother that she can't do it.

Aadhi's house

Anjali is sitting pretending to read a book while Adhi is yelling at the phone at someone who wants to know the goss about Abhi confronting Adhi in his office. Usha comes in to offer coffee. Adhi is furious and throws it on the floor. Adhi says that Abhi is torturing him and Usha says that Abhi has been very quiet so far but if she has retaliated now it is because Adhi must have pushed her too much. Patti is on her way to the terrace and overhears the conversation looks upset.

Kala and Rajesh along with their daughter come home (from a trip somewhere I think) Kala is complaining about heat and cursing Rajesh for not coming and picking them up. Kala sees Sundari lying and asks her what her problem was. Sundari relates the whole sorry mess where Rajesh planned to commit suicide but Guru ended up drinking the poison. She tells Kala that Rajesh still loves Aarti and she was very afraid. Rajesh comes in, Kala lits into him. She yells and screams and says if Rajesh thought that he was going to go back to living with Aarti he had another thing coming and that she would not hesitate to go to the police and lodge a complaint against him. Rajesh looks scared

Patti and Anjali at the temple. Patti asks Anjali to do pradarshinam. Karpagam comes to the temple and asks Patti why she wanted her to come. Patti says that she is scared because Adhi is on a rampage. She requests Karpagam to ask Adhi not to push Adhi too far. She says that she knows that it is not Abhi's fault but says that Adhi is immature and if he is angry he will just react without giving any thought to consequences. She reveals to Karpagam that she knows that she is Eashwaran's first wife. Karpagam is shocked. They turn and see Anjali who looks like she heard everything. Anjali just walks away and Patti is scared as to what she overheard.

Next scene

Adhi comes in screaming Abhi's name and has a gun in his hand. He pushes through Mano, Rajendra, Aarti and Karpagam. Abhi comes out of a room, Karpagam pushes her back in and locks the door. Karpagam yells right back to Adhi and says that if he wanted to shoot someone he can do so right away. Abhi is banging at the door begging to be let out. Adhi screams saying that he knows that Abhi is his father's daughter. Abhi is shown looking shocked …..

Update for Monday 25.09.2006

Episode picks off from yesterday with Adhi screaming and trying to shoot Abhi. Abhi manages to come out of the room Adhi yells that he knows that she is his father's daughter, he holds a gun on her head annnnnd…… Karpagam wakes up screaming from a dream!! She runs around screaming for Abhi but Abhi has left for work. She is sobbing and Anandi, Aarti and Rajendran pacify her saying that nothing would happen to Abhi. Karpagam however looks terrified…

Adhi's house

Anjali is sitting with an annoyed expression, Patti fearfully comes in to talk to her. Anjali says that Patti is betraying Adhi and Kanchana! Just as Patti looks like she is going to have an attack then and there Anjali says that she did not know what Patti and Karpagam were talking but just talking to Karpagam was equal to betraying Adhi. She says that Abhi has been nothing but trouble, the worst being getting Adhi married to Usha. Usha walks by, hears Anjali's comments and takes offence. Patti somehow manages to send both of them off without any blood being shed!!

Next scene

Adhi and his family are at a temple. It is Adhi's birthday and a pooja has been arranged for his long life. Kanchana gives Adhi a gold bracelet and minister and Rekha present him with a car. Minister slyly insults Usha's parents who are there, Usha is insulted and they go rah-rah, Adhi yells, Usha yells, Minister yells (you get the picture…) and Usha's parents finally stalk off, huffing and puffing. Adhi then gets a phone call and says he has to go as he has an important meeting with the builders association.

Karpagam and Chitti with an astrologer

Astrologer looks at Abhi's jathakam hems and haws and finally says that Abhi will face lots of trouble in her life from her brother. Chitti looks confused, Karpagam looks teary and terrified. Astrologer then says according to Abhi's jathakam she will, horror of horrors, reunite with Bhaskar and even have a child with him!! He says that this was inevitable and the only thing they can do is pray…

Adhi comes in for the meeting with the builders association and Abhi is there too. There are three men present there and one of them says that Abhi has filed a complaint against Adhi and that is why he has been summoned. Adhi than does a la Bhaskar, claims that Abhi has come up to her present position by her underhanded, unethical ways, using her beauty, and lets face it basically said that she had sold herself to all sorts of people to get where she is today. Abhi is enraged and asks Adhi how dare he talk about her in such a derogatory way. Adhi loses his temper (like he ever had control over it anyway!) and proceeds to strangle her in the presence of the three good men….

Update for Tuesday, 26th September 2006

Scene continues from yesterday with Adhi strangling Abhi. The three gentlemen aghast, pull Adhi away and demand that he apologise to Abhi. Adhi is shocked that HE! has to apologise. He hesitates, hems and haws but under the insistence of the three men splutters out an apology. The three men warn Adhi not to interfere in Abhi's business anymore otherwise he would face dire consequences. Adhi slinks away while Abhi looks victorious

Adhi goes back to the temple visibly upset and Kanchana wants to know what happened. Adhi bleats out that Abhi had filed a false complaint at the Builders association that he was harassing her and what injustice he had to actually apologise to her!! Kanchana is now on the warpath and stalks off to find deadbeat hubby Eashwaran.

Abhi is now back at Abhi constructions. Rajamani, Bhaskar and Krishnan are together. Abhi triumphantly tells them that Thols was not responsible for any of the recent events. Adhi was and she was just coming from the builders association where she had a face off with Adhi. Rajamani says she knows it all but is worried that Abhi had now made Adhi even angrier and is afraid as to how Adhi would now react. Abhi supports Thols but Rajamani says she still doubts his behaviour. Rajamani says that she was mixing business and personal feelings and Abhi reacts a bit angrily asking Rajamani not to interfere in her personal decisions. Rajamani sensibly says that it was her money that was invested in the project and she had a right to voice her opinion. She then walks off angrily. Bhaskar tells Abhi that it was a mistake to speak to Rajamani that way. Abhi says that she also agrees that she was making a mistake in the sense that she was allowing an auditor's assistant to advice her on matters that are none of his business (Bravo!! I loved this bit, about time Abhi) She tells Bhaskar to stick to his job or he would soon be looking for a job somewhere else. Bhaskar gets the message and hightails it out of the room.

Kanchana stomps into Abhi's house with a scared looking Eashwaran following behind her. She screams for Karpagam. Karpagam comes out and so do Aarti and Rajendran. Kanchana then goes on and on about how Abhi had insulted Adhi, she had better watch herself otherwise she would be in trouble, she had no class no status how dare she think that she can compete with Adhi and so on and so forth… Karpagam suddenly finds her tongue and she gives back to her asking her who she thinks she was. Kanchana gets uglier saying that after all Karpagam's husband left her for another woman, Karpagam says my husband…. Looks at Eashwaran who looks absolutely petrified, takes pity on him and does not continue any further. She looks up and sees Abhi's Chittappu at the gate. Chittappu spots his long lost brother, Eashwaran has also seen him and looks ready to bolt. Chittappu understands the situation immediately. Kanchana leaves dragging her pathetic husband with her all the while threatening Karpagam and her family….

aarthi and mama are talking and making fun of Kanchu and her dressing, Anu overhears and yells at them that they are cheap and if they dontlike someone wy should they comment on their dressing etc...Aarthi and Anu get into argument and karpagam asks aarthi to keep quiet and walks out, Abi enters and everyone go to their rooms and abi cries to her mama that she comeshome after so much issues at work and no peace here also..

scene 2- Minister, aadhi, giri and police are driking and talking about prabhu;s death enquiry etc...

scene 3- interesting part
Abhi calls ganga and asks her to come back to work and Ganga asks why? she says because of thols, she goves a looooong talk about hers and thuls friendship and that she wants him to be happy and she wants ganga to marry him, ganga says she will accept thols if abhi and thols breakup, she wants abhi to fire thols, abhi is shocked abut agrees and starts crying.....
